NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

My whole family has watched every episode of Chase. We love it. It has gotten better each week. Bring it back!
I think Chase is a great show! I think it suffered from following the Event, which was just awful in my opinion, I don’t know what happened to the Wednesday move. But, I’m hoping if NBC doesn’t bring it back, maybe another network like TNT will be willing to pick it up like they did with Southland. Keeping my fingers crossed for a Chase return!!!!

Must Bring it Back. Makes me miss home. I love the show. It was one of my fave’s and it’s on a network I dont usually watch.

I LOVE CHASE!!!!My family would have a wed tv show night and that is all we watched!!!!I would have friends come over and we would have like a party (kind of)! But not anymore! because it is cancelled!
Chase is an excellent program and NBC needs to promote it more or sell it to Investigation ID channel. There are so many crappy shows (Minute to Win It) that is is disheartening that NBC made this decision.
“Chase” is one of the best shows I (and my husband) have ever seen. Please reconsider your choice to substitute it with such a ridiculous show as Minute to Win It–it makes a mockery of your intelligent viewing public!

NBC is going downhill just like WB. Pretty soon they won’t have anything worth watching either. Great job guys, getting rid of the people with real talent to keep crap like Minute to Win It on air. Yeah … real smart … >.>
Chase was AWESOME!! Suspense, action, drama, it had everything including great acting. My husband and I loved watching this show, the movie plots were intense, and action packed giving us an hour of great TV, now what do we do… watch Minute to Win It…please =( We strongly agree with the others, move it to Thursday’s!!!!! Please!!!!!
Before canceling Chase why don’t they try a new day & time. Ny husband & I love the show and the actors have such good chemestry. Please do not cancel it
