NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

I’ve also been watching Chase since it first aired and am disappointed that it may be over. I hope the network will at least air the end of the season!
NBC always does this. Find a time spot that works.
Chase is AWESOME……My whole family waits for it come on …. Please bring it back… If advertisers support CHASE I bet we will all support them…… Good for us, good for the advertisers economy…..

Tthis is a dissapointment . I thought Chase was one of the best police shows on i hope they bring it back as I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Why did you remove the airing of CHASE? The series is quite good and it’s not true that it does not have a good showing. Please air the rest of the episodes, please please. The actors and actresses behind the series are all making their best. The whole family is enjoying tv time of Chase. It’s so unfair to us viewing public that you just dumped it without notice.
My husband and I looked forward to Chase every week, I’m very sad that all the networks out there are opting for reality shows instead of good shows with drama and real enterainment. I agree with many of the comments. A new show needs to be given more time, so word can get out, they need to be giving a fighting chance. I cant believe they are taking this off are (or they did) I dont have time to really sit down and watch anything but I always DVRed the series and made time to watch it! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!
Love love this show! Will be pissed if it is cancelled! I don’t know why it got low ratings! Better than Hawaii 5-0!

This is complete crap. I never watch these shows because they’re all the same. Chase is an awesome show and Kelli Giddish really makes her role believable. I agree with Betz-the network owes the fans the last episodes. Its the least they can do. I have lost respect for NBC and feel badly for the cast, crew, and the other fans out there.
This was great, sorry to see it go. Looked forward every week to watch it with my son.
