What’s This TV Show About?
A USA Network sci-fi drama, Colony stars Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Tory Kittles, Peter Jacobson, and Alex Neustaedter. The story unfolds in the near-future, in a world where citizens are under military occupation by the Colony Transitional Authority, as part of a larger extraterrestrial invasion. Former FBI agent Will Bowman (Holloway) and wife Katie (Callies) were raising their daughter and two sons in Los Angeles, but were separated from the younger boy during the invasion and pulled out all the stops to get him back. The third season kicks off six months after the season two finale, with Will and Katie rebuilding their family in the world beyond the walls. They soon begin a journey during which they’ll uncover the truth behind the occupation. Once again, this family will find themselves having to choose sides.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Colony averaged a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 665,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 37% and 18%, respectively. Check out how Colony stacks up against other USA Network TV shows.

Will Colony cancel or renew Colony for season four? The ratings are way down once again. USA could renew it (they’ve renewed lower-rated shows) but I suspect that Colony is expensive so it will be cancelled instead. I vote Yes please give the colony some more seasons there’s so many different story lines you can go with there’s so many good actors on this I seen so many good science fiction shows being cancelled over the years there’s a couple good ones on that have made it that I’m surprised that they kept on and that have been threatened over the years every year they threaten a canceled but they kept them going some shows get transferred other stations to keep them going to have to do that do that I don’t know why they have to… Read more »
I sincerely hope Colony doesn’t get canceled. I’m astonished the show has a declining viewership because to me it is getting better and better. I would be incredibly disappointed if there isn’t a season 4. I think USA should promote this show more. If people knew how good it was more would watch it.
I also think the seasons only hit better and better. Fascinating storyline and great cast. Season 1 was not as good as the others so people nay not have checked out the next 2 seasons. Hope they reconsider and renew!
Please dont cancel. Schneider is my favorite guy I love to hate. And unless they explain why those robots haven’t blown Josh Holloways character into mince meat by the end of season 3 I’m going to be heartbroken. I’m in serious need of resolution with this!!!!
Please don’t cancel Colony. It is my family’s favorite show. It is the best sci-fi show on tv today.
Please do not cancel! Best show on tv! Acting, writing are superb! They should look at total viewers thru all technology, not nielson! That does not represent viewers in 2018! Update!!

Colony has intrigue, family, pain and hope, sci-fi suspense about AI and aliens and war. Best show on TV right now.

They really should bring it back. The ratings are hurting, the time slot stinks, and they are messing a little too much with the formula because the show moved from LA to Vancouver to save money. I will be sad it is cancelled at the end of the season. NBC Universal needs a shake up.
