What’s This TV Show About?
An HBO scripted comedy, Crashing stars creator Pete Holmes in a semi-autobiographical role. Also starring are Lauren Lapkus, George Basil, Ali Reissen, Jamie Lee, Dov Davidoff, Jermaine Fowler, Aparna Nancherla, and Madeline Wise. Dave Attell, John Mulaney, and Artie Lange recur in season three as versions of themselves. The series follows Pete (Holmes), who dives into the cutthroat NYC comedy scene, after his marriage falls apart.
Other guest stars in the third season of Crashing include Ray Romano, Amy Schumer, Estee Adoram, Wayne Federman, Greg Fitzsimmons, Chris Gethard, Kevin Brennan, Elon Gold, Joyelle Johnson, Jessica Kirson, Emo Philips, Colin Quinn, Vanessa Ramos, Modi Rosenfeld, Wil Sylvinces, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Jaboukie Young-White.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Crashing averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 376,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 3% in the demo and up by 7% in viewership. Learn how Crashing stacks up against the other HBO TV shows.

Will HBO cancel or renew Crashing for season four? The numbers continue to be very low but I suspect that the series will continue as long as Holmes wants to make it. I was also upset that season 4 was canceled. I found the show by searching on demand comedy shows and fell in love with this series. It only took me a few nights to sit down and relax while i watched from season 1 until season 3 finale. Sucks i really enjoyed watching Pete Holmes. Please bring it back. Got to follow through.
We just finished season 3 tonight of Crashing and I just looked up when Season 4 would be on and I was very disappointed to hear it is being canceled. My Husband and I just binged all three seasons and enjoyed it very much! We saw something about the show on one of the morning shows and decided to give it a try. I am VERY disappointed that Crashing has been cancelled. One of my favorite shows, and my husband likes it so much he actually stays awake to watch it. I don’t understand why…..
