NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
Crisis was best show on TV in a long time. Much more believable than some of the unreal reality shows where people demonstrate immoral, undesirable, and stupid behaviors. I believe it would have done better in a better time slot.
Sad this is being cancelled…..we really enjoyed it!
I actually enjoyed Crisis and thought it was creative and edgy. Perhaps it is the 666 Park Avenue curse starring Rachel Taylor. Anyway, I’m tired of NBC cancellimg every new and interesting show without giving them a chance. Maybe it’s time to quit NBC altogether!!!
My husband and I both are really disappointed with the cancellation of Crisis AND Revolution. It seems almost like TV shows have become this revolving door where if one is not doing extremely great, it’s out and another one takes it’s place. But really, it takes a while to feel for the characters, the plots, to become emotionally invested only to have it disappear and replaced by yet another show to get “used” to. These are great shows or you wouldn’t have put them on in the first place and it sounds like both of them have a loyal and… Read more »
I really like this show also. I am always anxious for the next episode. I really hope that they do not cancel this show. Lance Gross is outstanding as Agent Marcus Finley. I believe that a petition should be started to keep this show.
At least give viewers an ending.
Why do they always cancel a good show after the first season and so what’s the whole point of making any season or episode if you cannot even finish one show.. I was really getting into this show and i find it really interesting.. People don’t know how to rate shows instead they choose to keep reality shows like love & hip hop common that’s just plain ignorant, there’s more to educate on shows like “Crisis” then those reality shows but once again people rather see ignorant things happening.. Hopefully there will be a season 2 of “Crisis”

My family really enjoys this program! I can see each season being a different crisis. Good story and good acting.
I agree with seeing each season as being a “NEW CRISIS” Wide open field for the writers.
I feel the two shows should not been place in the Sunday slot competing again Good Wife and the Mentalist. Crisis and Believe are good and would have survived in a different time slots
if those two shows were put on another night, they would have been cancelled sooner and not shown all their episodes. They were put on low viewing Sunday for a reason. and they still flopped.
The Mentalist and Good Wife are ratings losers, so saying that these two supposedly good shows (B & C) would have done better against stronger competition is absurd.
This show is a thriller and eyeopener. It should be finished. Runs like an old miniseries. We like that kind.
I feel like that’s messed that there taking off crisis an believe plz someone else pick them up
I think is a really good show and should be cancelled…slow at first but it picked up and was rather exciting….if they are gonna cancell, atleast let it come to a clean end
Oops…I meant this show SHOULD NOT be cancelled…
Really like the cast — good they are ending this crisis would have liked them then to go to another crisis because of cast
Why? this show its nice but have some issues, its ok. I think if this story whas’t happend in U.S.A i think every american haved waching it
They should let it end. It is excellent show. However one season only. We don’t need another “24” endless show/
