As you may recall, NBC aired the first season of Crossing Lines a couple summers ago. It didn’t perform well enough in the ratings and the network opted not to pick up the second season. Crossing Lines has been a success in the international market however and Netflix recently started streaming season two for US audiences.
Deadline now reports that a third season of 12 episodes has been ordered with Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, Revolution) and Goran Visnjic (ER) joining the cast. They’ll join Donald Sutherland as leads, replacing William Fichtner.
The X-Files’ Frank Spotnitz is joining the show as an executive producer alongside Tandem’s Rola Bauer. Crossing Lines creator and executive producer Ed Bernero departed after Season two to be close to his family in California.
The series shoots in Europe and filming will be getting underway next week in Prague. It’s not known when season three will be available here in the States, via Netflix or some other outlet.
What do you think? Do you like the Crossing Lines TV show? Have you seen the second season? Would you pay to watch the third season?
Love the show…loved all the cast..hoping they don’t get rid of Tommy!!
Great show and since I do pay for Netflix where I’m watching, I guess I say yes I would pay to watch crossed lines! For a few more seasons, how much law and order can a person watch already?
I love this show!!! I hope it continues and I am very much looking forward to season three.
this is an absolutely brilliant series. The characters are so individual and the storylines are superb. Love the international cast. Hope it continues beyond season 3.
So very good and so sad to lose Carl and Louis and possibly even Eva as we don’t know what Dorn saw. Bring it back on Netflix ASAP
Great show. Please show it in the U.S.
Love the series hope to see season 3 and beyond
liked it very much
I really enjoyed seasons 1 and 2! The plots were fresher in season 1 of course, but the character development in season 2 made up for it. The concept is really excellent, and I’m guessing there are so many stories to choose from that won’t be the problem here. Like most things in TV land that succeed on any scale, the next iteration will likely fail. “True Detective” is an unfortunate example. I discovered the show on Netflix, so I will wait to see what happens – but wish them good luck. I will miss Fichtner, Lavione, and Mitchell might… Read more »
my husband and I think it’s one of the best series on TV compared to all the junk that has been playing on different networks. It’s exciting and thrilling with out all the necessity of nudity and excessive language on most programs. Thank u for the enjoyment of two seasons and hopefully more to follow.
i have loved this from episode one on NBC and was very upset that it wasn’t renewed. Watching 2 on Netflix, can’t wait for Season 3 but will miss Carl very much.
I love the show, but I dont think I am going to enjoy the fact that three of the lead actors are quitting
I led he series.

Everyone makes comments about how much they like the show, which I did as well, but no one can give us a clue when the 3rd season will be ready and if it will be aired in the United States. I can’t find it any place on the Internet.
I love it
