As you may recall, NBC aired the first season of Crossing Lines a couple summers ago. It didn’t perform well enough in the ratings and the network opted not to pick up the second season. Crossing Lines has been a success in the international market however and Netflix recently started streaming season two for US audiences.
Deadline now reports that a third season of 12 episodes has been ordered with Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, Revolution) and Goran Visnjic (ER) joining the cast. They’ll join Donald Sutherland as leads, replacing William Fichtner.
The X-Files’ Frank Spotnitz is joining the show as an executive producer alongside Tandem’s Rola Bauer. Crossing Lines creator and executive producer Ed Bernero departed after Season two to be close to his family in California.
The series shoots in Europe and filming will be getting underway next week in Prague. It’s not known when season three will be available here in the States, via Netflix or some other outlet.
What do you think? Do you like the Crossing Lines TV show? Have you seen the second season? Would you pay to watch the third season?
Like the show a lot hope it has more than a third season.
This is a great series. Not the traditional ones we have in the US. The cast is excellent and story lines are good.
It is different and refreshing. I am very anxious to see Season 3.
I loved both season! Really sad that William Fitchner is no longer apart of the cast.
Crossing lines great show. will be waiting to watch season 3. We watch it on Netflix because there isno cable in our area.
I have watched it and loved it . Hope they decide to to rear in the US. Looking forward to seeing season 3.
Tonight Crossing Lines is suppose to be on and I can’t find it. NBC says it is on Oct 3 and so if anyone knows where this show is………………please let me know.
Crossing Lines is available on Netflix. It hasn’t been on NBC in primetime since 2013 and never aired in October so I’m not sure what you’re looking at. Perhaps your local station was running it? If so, I’d contact them directly.
Scroll up and read they’re just now getting ready to start shooting in Prague. 12 more episodes of Crossing Lines. It will be on Netflix when finished. I heard the same dates you did aND looked it up the other night.
Tonight Crossing Lines is suppose to be on and I can’t find it. NBC says it is on Oct 3 and so if anyone knows where this show is………………please let me know. This is one of the best shows on TV and with what is on TV these days, it is a winner for sure. There are very few shows worth watching anymore, most are junk reality shows which I refuse to watch.
I love this show. Was hooked from season one. I am so glad I found season three. Does not air in the states but that’s okay. I still am able to watch the show and am gonna enjoy every episode. Thank you so much.
Where does it air?
I watched it online but if you google it then these show up:
Networks: NBC, TF1, AXN, Sat.1, Rai 2
I’m not sure how old the info is but NBC dropped it (as the admin said above). If you can stream Italian or French tv you can watch RAI2 and TF1.
I watched Crossing Lines on NBC & also on Netflix. Yes, I watched both seasons and I am truly happy that Netflix listened to the Crossing Lines fan base. Be sure to let us know when the third season starts. Thank you.
I am thrilled that Netflix is bringing Crossing Lines for a third season. I just hope the replacement characters won’t change the vibe too much. I guess we will have to see. I loved this series.
Yes, somebody bring season three back to the U S.
I agree with my Michelle, I really enjoyed Crossing Lines, however, I think they’re getting rid of too many of the regulars! I would pay to see it in the states – very enjoyable series.
I enjoyed the series very much. I enjoyed the technology used and the characters showed intelligence. I hope it comes to the states soon for 3rd season
