Season one of Damnation just wrapped, but will there be a season two? Recently, creator Tony Tost said he hopes USA Network renews the TV show.
Set in the 1930s, the drama centers on Seth Davenport (Killian Scott), a labor agitator who poses as a small-town priest and comes into conflict with professional strikebreaker Creeley Turner (Logan Marshall-Green). The cast also includes Sarah Jones, Chasten Harmon, Melinda Page Hamilton, Christopher Heyerdahl, Joe Adler, Teach Grant, Dan Donohue, David Haysom, Arnold Pinnock, and Rohan Mead.
On Twitter, Tost said he wants a second season of Damnation and there’s still more story to tell for the USA Network TV show:
I'm getting a lot of questions about a second season of #DamnationTV. Hang in there! These decisions take time, especially in our case where the show is a co-production w/ both USA network & (globally) Netflix. Once there's official word to share, we won't keep it a secret.

I just finished watching the first season and really hope for more seasons. I couldn’t stop watching it!! Love it!!
Maybe the high political content is one reason there is a question mark on season 2. I would not be surprised
My husband and I love this show. They’re not too many shows anymore that have great storylines and actors like this show. Would love to see a second season.

I enjoyed this show much more than I thought I would. Uncommon time period setting, gritty characters portrayed brilliantly, compelling storyline. I for one don’t think much about this era of our history, so I was fascinated to learn more about it. Well done to all involved.

If USA ntwk doesn’t want it, Netflix would be foolish not to take it and make it, like you so successfully did with Longmire, which I also loved!

This is a great show, it is so nice to see a show set in the thirties as a change of pace. great acting, writing, and period work. I will continue to watch it as long as they put it on air, which I hope is for years to come!
