Is The Punisher getting his own series? According to Digital Spy, Marvel executive Jeph Loeb says there are no plans for a spin-off show featuring the Daredevil anti-hero.

Jon Bernthal plays The Punisher in the upcoming second season of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix.

Despite rumors saying The Punisher would get a spin-off, Loeb told Digital Spy that the rumors are only rumors and not reality:

I think that’s something that people are speculating on, as opposed to something that’s actually happening. It’s certainly our hope that any of our characters will be embraced and that people want to see more of them.”

Season two of Marvel’s Daredevil premieres on Netflix on March 18th.
