Is there still hope for Dark Matter? Recently, co-creator Joseph Mallozzi suggested there may be a chance for another season of the cancelled Syfy TV show.
As reported earlier, Syfy recently cancelled the space-set drama after three seasons. The cast includes Marc Bendavid, Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr, Jodelle Ferland, Roger Cross, and Zoie Palmer.
On his blog, Mallozzi revealed that other networks have expressed interest in saving Dark Matter. However, the co-creator also mentioned that time is running out to save the show as both the crew and the cast can’t wait forever.

Dark Matter is a clever, fun show and, like all the best science fiction, it’s not about the high-tech but about people and making your own family where you can. This show deserves to continue its story until its logical conclusion.
I hope Netflix takes it. They seem to have a good eye for making someone else’s canceled shows and revitalize it to success. If Syfy can’t finish their plot so their viewers/customer are not left hanging with yet another abandonment, they don’t deserve the ratings.

Typical of these channels. When a good series is on they cancel it but keep on putting on repeats. Syfy management should be fired. If they keep doing this everybody should boycott the channel and let’s see how long the keep their job then.

I really hope they renewed or get picked up by Netflix. By Netflix current standards this show will be dirt cheap to make compared to their other series.
Dark Matter is a clever & enjoyable show. It would be a foolish move not to renew it! We are sick of all the shallow cheaply produced shows.
