What’s This TV Show About?
A Syfy space opera, Dark Matter stars Marc Bendavid, Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr, Jodelle Ferland, Roger Cross, and Zoie Palmer. The science fiction drama series follows the crew of a derelict spaceship who awake with no memory of who they are or how they got on board. Still, they must work together to survive a threatening voyage charged with vengeance, betrayal, and plenty of secrets.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Dark Matter averaged a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 608,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 13% and down by 10%, respectively. Find out how Dark Matter stacks up against other Syfy TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Season three premiered with mediocre numbers but the ratings for Dark Matter have remained pretty consistent. Syfy seems to believe in the program since they added an after show — After Dark — this season. Dark Matter also airs on the Space channel in Canada, so its fate largely depends on its success north of the border. I suspect that we will see a fourth season. Netflix did pick up Dark Matter and i think it is a crying shame that this show was canceled after only its 3rd season. Wish someone would make a season 4 that would actually explain the season 3 cliff hanger.

great show Netflix should snatch it up
It really was just hitting its stride, I hope with enough support they decide to renew and finish this story we’ve all enjoyed so much. With the characters really coming into theyre own and the plotlines always really fun, I definitely hope for more seasons.
Its dumb when they cancel a show when it was just hitting its stride. I feel like the characters where really coming into theyre own and the plotlines were interesting and fun. Netflix should work a deal to at least finish it with a cool netflix original movie…or something.
It’s a damn shame that this show is cancelled. I got super into it. It reminded me so much of Firefly and now it suffered the same fate. Shame.
I have really enjoyed this show. Kind of binge watched season 3. Lots of questions to be answered. Please consider another season to at least clear them up for the dedicated watchers.

i just went thru season 3 in a little over a week – the BEST scifi to come out in years and they are not doing season 4? i want to see it thru season 10 – or more!
syfy are idiots…..one of the best syfy shows ever. If they dont put DM on again, I will never watch another one of their shows again.
Season 4, PLEASE! The only reson the ratings were low was because some of us preferred to binge by streaming.
