Last year, USA Network cleaned house; cancelling or ending TV shows like Rush, White Collar, Burn Notice, and Covert Affairs. They have several new shows in the works and are hoping that series like Dig will bring better ratings. Will Dig be a hit or a flop? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? We’ll have to wait and see.
On the Dig TV show, a dedicated and headstrong FBI agent named Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs) takes a job stationed in Israel under the guidance of his new boss (and occasional lover) Lynn Monahan (Anne Heche). While investigating a young American’s murder, Connelly uncovers an ancient international conspiracy — one that threatens to change the course of human history. The rest of the cast includes Ori Pfeffer, Melinda Page Hamilton, Alison Sudol, Regina Taylor, David Costabile, and Lauren Ambrose.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
7/1 update: In some promotions, the cable channel is encouraging people to watch “the entire series” on demand — an indication that the show is over.
Final season averages: 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.21 million total viewers.

What do you think? Do you like the Dig TV series? Do you think that it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Love, Love, Love the show. Finally a show about religion and mystery that seems belivable. Please don’t cancel. Left me on the edge of my seat.
Fascinating premise, well done, good acting, intriguing/mysterious…Please renew!
love this show. Hopefully it is renewed. Great cast and story line. With all the mysteries in the Middle East you could have a fresh story for many seasons to come
Loved it!can’t wait for season 2
The BEST show to hit TV!!! Loved every minute!
Quality is appreciated! Israel! Can’t get enough!
Don’t even Think of cancelling DIG…..
on the edge of my seat! Renew, Renew, RENEW!
Love the show. It definitely got my attention as it was different from most of the other series out there. Please renew!
Love the show! Please bring it back for a 2nd season.
Really enjoyed the show and the ARG tie in. Keep the writers and do a different show. I like the one season format. I know it’s hard for a company to turn it’s back on some thing that is popular. Even if you do “spin offs” and a character or two makes an appearance to tie the “universe” of the shows together. But, what do I know. Over all, writing, acting, execution: all top notch.
Love the show, keep it on the air!!!
There needs to be a second season!
I like biblical archaeological mysteries. Dig is complicated so you’ve got to be up on your bible and have a fertile imagination and be able to suspend disbelief. The show is good.
I loved watching the show looked forward to it every week it’s certainly a little different than the rest of the genre out there and I hope it’ll be renewed for season two
Loved the show – engrossing from Day One1
Peter & Golan share credit for solving the case! (Peter knew Gregory Donaldson was a key player, and Golan retrieved the VHS tape–OK…after Peter gave him the key to the safe-deposit box–that helped the process of connecting the dots.) And, WTG, Gregory, for sneaking out for some well-timed graffiti !! Tad & Liat got what they deserved–WTG, Lynn!!–although I sort of expected Faye, Ridell & Rabbi Lev to be among the casualties, as well. (Obviously, Faye’s secret–that she’s Josh’s *mother*–is safe. Of course, Shem & the Essenes would return underground (or, to be more precise, remain there)! I was sorry… Read more »
