Last year, USA Network cleaned house; cancelling or ending TV shows like Rush, White Collar, Burn Notice, and Covert Affairs. They have several new shows in the works and are hoping that series like Dig will bring better ratings. Will Dig be a hit or a flop? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? We’ll have to wait and see.
On the Dig TV show, a dedicated and headstrong FBI agent named Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs) takes a job stationed in Israel under the guidance of his new boss (and occasional lover) Lynn Monahan (Anne Heche). While investigating a young American’s murder, Connelly uncovers an ancient international conspiracy — one that threatens to change the course of human history. The rest of the cast includes Ori Pfeffer, Melinda Page Hamilton, Alison Sudol, Regina Taylor, David Costabile, and Lauren Ambrose.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
7/1 update: In some promotions, the cable channel is encouraging people to watch “the entire series” on demand — an indication that the show is over.
Final season averages: 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.21 million total viewers.

What do you think? Do you like the Dig TV series? Do you think that it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Absolutely Love this show-can hardly wait for next season. Great actors and terrific location-so interesting!!
This show is fabulous, what a thrill to see something new and exciting. I loved the main character Peter, what a man, not the usual pretty boy with no brains, a real hones to goodness man with intelligence and guts. I sure hope this show and others like it come to TV for I sometimes don’t turn on the TV for days as there is nothing but crap on anymore. Reality I do NOT do at all, not one show, give me more of shows like *Dig* and I will watch every day. Thank you USA for a great 10… Read more »
It is so refreshing to watch a show where you actually feel like an adult. So many shows are so predictable and dumb. DIG keeps you thinking and guessing. Please do not cancel the show!!! Get better marketing! Fabulous.
Great show enjoyed it .
Best show! Please do a second season!!!!
Night Shift has a great show
Probably not good for my blood pressure but intellectually refreshing with great characters and fascinating complexity. I will miss Golan but how about Avram back to partner with Peter? Of course, if desk-jockey Lynn is going to be that tough, she’ll have to return! Renew it!
DIG was a great show. It gave some actual food for the mind for a change from the more mindless and visceral series we’ve been treated to in recent years. And I will miss it and the people in that little temporary universe. But there are times when something has been set for a limited run and has to come to an end and sadly the story of DIG did end. Peter and Lynn are left standing at the end among the ruins of all that happened, and they are both very tough characters so there could be a potential… Read more »

Loved this series. Hope it comes back! One of the best this season!
loved the show, I hope it gets renewed.
Go for quality! USA Network, it will put you on the radar of many intelligent viewers.
Green light more of Peter Connelly saga please..
Loved the on- location settings and and inside look at Israel, people, language! I knew little about the country except the politics reported on our cable news. Loved listening to the Hebrew spoken with subtitles. Really contributed to authenticity. International settings were just beautiful. It had me the first opening scene in Norway. Yes, some of direction and story line was a bit choppy but kept my rapt attention throughout. Refreshingly original- please give us more!
I really enjoy the show, I hope it is renewed.
Love the show. Looking forward to more episodes.
