This week, Disney Channel announced they’ve ordered a series pilot from Lizzie McGuire creator Terri Minsky.

The untitled series will follow 13-year-old Andi Marcus, an adventurous girl with a strict mother and aimless sister, Bex. Now in her late 20s, Bex returns home, after dropping out of school and running away, in order to get her life straight.

Peyton Elizabeth Reed has been cast as the lead, and the series begins production sometime next year.
