TV show description:
In this continuation of the original series (1963-1989), the Doctor is a very old alien and a time lord from the planet Gallifrey. Often travelling with companions, the Doctor explores time and space, solving problems and righting wrongs.
They travel in an unreliable old time machine known as the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space). It’s much larger on the inside but, due to a chronic malfunction, its exterior is stuck in the shape of a 1950s British police box.
As a Time Lord, the Doctor is able to regenerate his body whenever he is near death (providing a convenient way to recast the actor when needed) and the new incarnations each have their own unique quirks and abilities.
What, no ratings? This is the only site I can find that shows ratings for both and 18-49 demo and overall in a clear easy graph. Please, you don’t have to have rating for all BBC shows, (although that would be preferable), just for the Doctor Who shows…
Also, keep up the good work.
Doctor Who has not failed to deliver since I began watching in the 1960’s. Always edgy, always a treat. Thank you BBC.
