Jamal’s getting a hot, new love interest on Empire. Entertainment Weekly reports Juan Antonio has been cast in season three of the FOX TV series.

Antonio has previously appeared in How to Get Away with Murder, Murder in the First, and Modern Family.

In season three, he’ll play “Philip, a military vet, who runs a PTSD support group Jamal attends.” From Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal:

It’s someone that for the first time, gives no f—s about his fame. Could not care less and not in a disrespectful way. He just genuinely is not affected by the money or the success or the fame and it’s a very, very honest relationship.”

Season three of Empire premieres on September 21st.
