According to Hypable, the Entourage movie is expected to start filming in January 2013. Series creator Doug Ellin is currently working on a script.
The Entourage TV show aired for eight seasons on HBO before ending last summer. When the final season was announced, it was said that a feature film was being planned as a follow-up. There’s been mixed news since then.
While making a recent appearance on The Today Show, Entourage executive producer Mark Wahlberg shared that the script was being written and that the feature was being fast-tracked for a release.
Wahlberg previously told GQ about what he envisioned for the film. He said “I think a 90-minute movie of sheer craziness—the guys getting back to just being about the guys, you know? Lose the ladies. Go crazy. Give people what they want.”
Series co-star Jeremy Piven shared what he had in mind, noting, “We’re teed up for a movie in a way that, you know, Ari has this conundrum that he’s facing, which is either to rule the world or to honor his love to his wife.”
What do you think? Would you pay to see an Entourage movie? Should they make it or just leave the TV series alone?

I’m watched the final season yesterday. I was disapointed with the happily ever after crap but I’d welcome a movie. Allthough in 2 years I might no even give a f about it. Who knows ? They should of had a legit tv ending imo
I just finished the series and I think it would be an awesome idea to make the Movie, It’s be good to see what Ari does with the offer for the movie company and to see where the guys are going to end up nex. How Drama’s movie went, If Vince is still even in the business, What happened with Sloan and Eric, and even What Turtle’s next big venture will be after the restaurant gets big on the west coast or not. I feel the show was left too open ended to not make a feature film that sums… Read more »
