It’s been quite awhile since we’ve seen new installments of Showtime’s Episodes but that doesn’t mean the series has been cancelled.
Season three is set to kick off on January 12th with the first of nine new episodes. The show has been off the schedule since July 2012.
On top of that, Showtime has now renewed the series for a fourth season. Production on another nine new installments will begin in 2014.
What do you think? Are you a fan of the Episodes TV series? Will you be watching in January?
Please renew Episodes! So funny and the only reason we have Showtime. This show is brilliant.
Welcome to my world, Jeremy. These boneheaded networks decisions often make no sense. In fact, I came in here to write how glad (and shocked) I am that Episodes got renewed. I love this show. If you aren’t watching it, do take a look because it is funny as heck! It’s one of those sleeper shows that grows by word of mouth. But in all honesty, Jeremy got it right. The ratings were bad. But, hey! For once, a network boneheaded decision worked in my favor (doesn’t happen often, so I’m going to savor it!).
I’m glad, but I’m puzzled though. The shows ratings haven’t been impressive at all. I still remember them canceling The United States of Tara, which had slightly better ratings. So WTF, really?
