Barbara is getting promoted. TVLine reports Retta has bumped up to a series regular for season three of the Bravo series Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.
The comedy centers on Abby McCarthy (Lisa Edelstein), a self-help author going through a divorce. Retta plays Abby’s co-worker, Barbara. Bravo has already renewed the show through season five.
Season two of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce ended in February. No word yet on when season three will premiere.
