Good news for fans of home renovation. Today, HGTV announced they’ve renewed the TV show Good Bones for a third season.
The home improvement series “stars the dynamic mother/daughter duo Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak as they buy homes in serious disrepair and transform them into stunning remodels.”

New York [July 25, 2017] HGTV has picked up a third season of its popular home renovation and flipping series, Good Bones. The series stars the dynamic mother/daughter duo Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak as they buy homes in serious disrepair and transform them into stunning remodels. Currently airing on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Good Bones has attracted more than 11.8 million viewers since its premiere on Tuesday, May 30. The series’ strong performance has helped HGTV rank as a top three cable network among upscale W25-54 in the Tuesday 10-11 p.m. ET/PT timeslot. The new 13-episode season is scheduled to premiere in 2018.
“Mina and Karen’s incredible home renovation skills, as well as their expanding popularity with the HGTV audience, are just two of the many reasons to keep this hit going for another season,” said John Feld, senior vice president of original programming and production for HGTV, DIY Network and GAC. “Nothing says success like a good mid-season renewal.”

Yes. Really enjoyed Good Bones and have looked for it on the schedule but could not even find re-runs. So now that I know it was renewed I’ll keep looking on the schedule and hope to see more episodes! These are amazing women and have a wonderful eye to renovate terrible shambles into neighborhood winners. There is no other show that really works with homes this old on a regular basis.

Love, love, love this show! I started watching Good Bones in the beginning when they called it “Two Chicks and a Hammer” and I was immediately hooked. Mina and Karen are not only talented, but they are delightful and so much fun to watch. I’m so glad they have been renewed for a 3rd season!

Love this show, glad my husband and I stumbled across it. The fact that I come from Indiana doesn’t hurt either. Like to see the mom and daughter inter action as well. My husband says he would like to see more of the basement and if they renovate it as well, and what they do about the things like the furnace etc. that is found there. Some of those basements look pretty bad. Glad to see it is being renewed. Just wish we didn’t have to wait so long.

I really like this show. Watch it every week. One of my favorite HGTV shows. You can have Flip or Flop and Love it or List it any day. They can’t compare.
