If you were waiting anxiously to find out the identity of the mysterious Magic Man on ABC’s Happy Town, you’ll have to wait a bit longer.
Happy Town revolves around a bunch of strange disappearances and murders in a small town. The large cast includes Sam Neill, M.C. Gainey, Geoff Stults, Lauren German, Amy Acker, Steven Weber, Ben Schnetzer, Sarah Gadon, Jay Paulson, and Robert Wisdom.
After a disappointing start in the ratings, Happy Town was pulled off the airwaves for much of May. Before the show could return on June 2nd, ABC officially cancelled the series. Only eight episodes have been filmed but at least answers to some of the TV show’s mysteries will be revealed by the end.
Unfortunately, ABC has pulled the show off the air once again. Happy Town was scheduled to take next Wednesday off but return for June 30th and July 7th with the last installments. The network has decided, likely because Happy Town’s ratings have gotten really bad, to replace them with repeats of Castle.
It’s likely that ABC will get around to airing the last two episodes of Happy Town on a Saturday night sometime this summer. It won’t be soon though. On July 3rd, they’ll burn off the last episodes of the forgotten. On July 10th, the network’s airing the extra two episodes of Eastwick. Could Happy Town return on July 17th? Another mystery that we’ll have to wait to have solved.
What do you think? Are you upset that ABC has pulled the last two episodes of Happy Town? Do you think they’ll ever air?

ABC sucks as far as I’m concerned. They do this all of the time and I personally am sick of it. I have vested my time in several of these new shows only to have them pulled. I will not view another new show in the future thanks ABC
Best show you have had on in awhile, I don’t watch your dumb comedies and reality shows.. This was actually the only show I watched on abc besides daytime and the news.. Castle repeats..please , you lost me as viewer..
I can’t believe that they canceled this show. My son is devastated. We looked forward to taping it and watching it together on Sat. night. We have been waiting and waiting for it to continue. Why would you start something and not finish it???????
I hope they rethink what they are doing. What’s a few more episodes? It’s almost over. Put it back on or put it in netflix so we can watch the rest one way or another.

It’s a shame that the networks cater to the tweens and teens and forget that the adult audiences can sink their teeth into something smart. I say, get rid of the ratings system. It screws everything up!
I can’t believe this show wasn’t more popular than it was. The last couple of episodes were really good. I guess if a show doesn’t have singing and dancing it doesn’t stand a chance
I think it was a LAME decision. Stick with the shows you start with and eat the results! You owe it to the viewers who start watching these series and do care.
We were so into this show! If they’d have placed it before 10PM in the first place….ppl would be on it. But at the very least finish it up. I hate ABC…. Who the hell is watching Castle? ****!
I am very disappointed that Happy Town is being cancelled. I watched every episode and I believe it was one of the best shows on television. I was looking forward to seeing both that show and “V”. I think V will be returning.
It’s all about the ratings! With a continuing series that has a story line, it is very disturbing when it is just dropped right when it is getting more interesting.
Maybe we should just have situation comedies and other dumb-down entertainment.
That SUCKS!!! I really wanted to see this show tonight, a lot more than seeing a rerun of another show–Guess I will be watching another station tonight–that was really lame of ABC!
I’m upset! I finally found another show I can actually watch and enjoy, and now they pull it-Please let me know when you’re going to air it-I was looking forward to watching it tonight but I guess that’s shot!
This really pi**es me off!!!!, ABC can screw up a wet dream
Agreed! I was watching and thought is got better week after week. (Well, the weeks they decided to put it on the air, that is). It is too bad that the TV climate today is one where shows are killed off before they are even given a chance. What a joke!
I hope the fans that were watching are given a chance to see the end. I sure wanna see what happens!
The ‘least’ ABC can do is finish it up, some people have been watching this show! ME!!!!!
I loved this show…cant believe they are pulling it again…
I was mad when I found out it was cancelled the first time but they said they were going to at least finish it up…now that’s not really even happening! Why not? Running repeats of another show rather than just finishing a series you already have in the can? Stupid.
