If you were waiting anxiously to find out the identity of the mysterious Magic Man on ABC’s Happy Town, you’ll have to wait a bit longer.
Happy Town revolves around a bunch of strange disappearances and murders in a small town. The large cast includes Sam Neill, M.C. Gainey, Geoff Stults, Lauren German, Amy Acker, Steven Weber, Ben Schnetzer, Sarah Gadon, Jay Paulson, and Robert Wisdom.
After a disappointing start in the ratings, Happy Town was pulled off the airwaves for much of May. Before the show could return on June 2nd, ABC officially cancelled the series. Only eight episodes have been filmed but at least answers to some of the TV show’s mysteries will be revealed by the end.
Unfortunately, ABC has pulled the show off the air once again. Happy Town was scheduled to take next Wednesday off but return for June 30th and July 7th with the last installments. The network has decided, likely because Happy Town’s ratings have gotten really bad, to replace them with repeats of Castle.
It’s likely that ABC will get around to airing the last two episodes of Happy Town on a Saturday night sometime this summer. It won’t be soon though. On July 3rd, they’ll burn off the last episodes of the forgotten. On July 10th, the network’s airing the extra two episodes of Eastwick. Could Happy Town return on July 17th? Another mystery that we’ll have to wait to have solved.
What do you think? Are you upset that ABC has pulled the last two episodes of Happy Town? Do you think they’ll ever air?

That is it ! Never again will I allow myself to get invested in any new show on ABC. I am done with this crappy network. I HATE those stupid reality shows, and every time this network puts on a good drama or mystery series, they pull it and leave those of us who enjoy the show hanging. I think I will just read books for entertainment. No dumass “suit” with lemongrass for brains can pull that away from me !
Final 2 episodes are on ABC.com.
Don’t expect to be satisfied.
Just made me madder!
Why should I ever watch a continuing story on ABC again?
Please tell us what happened – it’s totally unfair to take this off the air with NO answers – it does have loyal viewers! Just check how many comments there are here, and that’s not even counting those who don’t comment! ABC I hate you!
You can dosomething about it. Twitter has a bring back happy town pettetion. Fill it out and prove it is wanted. Do not let abc. Dissapoint us again ie harpers island , jerico, life on mars. The gates is just ok but i bet they cancel it also
I am about ready to boycott ABC! They are forever canceling good and interesting shows to replace them with reality television shows like the Bachelor; give me a fricken break! Why watch fake relationships unravel on television when viewers could actually enjoy a drama instead. After the cancellation of Ugly Betty I’ve decided to give ABC another try but they keep doing it first Eastwick and now Happy Town. UGH!!!
I think ABC sucks for doing that. I for one LOVED Harpers Island last year. It was my all time favorite show. And my whole extended family and myself watch Happy Town. I am seriously tired of them doing this and now i am going to have people boycott ABC if they pull Happy Town. They need to show the end
I totally agree…stop putting all these new shows on if you don’t intend to finish them out! I am done watching anything on ABC, because everytime I do…they always leave me hanging with an unfinished show!!!!! Seriously…get a clue 🙁
Total disappointment! This was a fun show to watch and had my wife and I totally hooked.
TV or online – it doesn’t matter – I would watch it anyway!!! Please finish the show – don’t leave us hanging for anwsers
Yes I am very upset at least give us some kind of closure like a 2 hour finally or make into a movie something don’t leave us hanging. Really upsets me get interested in a show than u don’t end it properly just like Eastwick.
That is why I find it hard to watch TV anymore! Anything I really enjoy, for some reason always get low ratings, and ends off off-air! There is people who like these type of shows, maybe not the millions of people networks would like it to be, but we are watching! Happy Town, off air; Harper’s Island 13 episodes! I love suspense shows of this genra, but if they are looking for outragous high ratings, I don’t think it will ever happen, but does that means that all of those who like these shows desserve to have nice shows to… Read more »
Shows like Happy Town really don’t have a fare shake. They are stopped in mid stream. Then moved around till no body cane keep up with any of the show or placement. Then we give up. Why even start these show if you really don’t want them to make it. I know you have a panel of people who view the show before it goes on the air. Someone in the survey must have approved it? Stop Look and Listen. Don’t tease or Dangle us with one more of these shows until you really want a following omake some money.… Read more »
i was looking on verizon on demand to watch the episode of happy town i missed last night. i was so upset to see that it wasn’t on there so i came to the internet for an answer. i hadn’t heard that the show had been canceled, or brought back, or canceled again. i love this show so much! it’s plot is diffrent from the vampire-themed shows that have become so common now. and why are shows like jersey shore coming back for a second and a rumored third season yet happy town’s unique plot gets canceled? rediculous.
It really ticks me off when the networks put these shows on and then pull them off without any warning. The very least they could do is to finish showing the filmed episodes. They did the same thing with Jericho and also Harpers’ Island. After some viewer persuasion they ended both shows giving the viewers some closure. Let’t hope they tie up loose ends and give the viewers closure on this one too……….else we can all stop watching the new shows when they debut so not to get hooked and then dropped.
I wish they would at least do a tv movie so we know what is going on. It is a good show, and I don’t understand why they don’t give it more of a chance.
