We’ve received a few emails from readers asking if Harry’s Law has been cancelled. After all, the last original episode of the Kathy Bates series aired on January 18th.
The legal drama has certainly been struggling in the ratings and is one of the lowest-rated shows on the network this season. But, while it’s hard to imagine that Harry’s Law will be renewed for a third season, the series hasn’t been cancelled just yet. It does have a lot of viewers, just not in the desired demographic unfortunately.
Harry’s Law is on hiatus and won’t return until March 11th, once the February sweeps period has finished. NBC ordered 22 episodes for the current season so there are 10 installments left to air.
Since it’s likely that the show won’t be back, hopefully the cast and crew won’t leave viewers with a cliffhanger in the last episode.
What do you think? Are you still watching Harry’s Law? Do you miss it when it’s not on?

I hope they don’t cancel Harry’s Law! It’s one of the few shows my husband and I really enjoy anymore! Love this show!!
I AGREE’ LOVE THE SHOW.” LOOK “FORWORD TO IT WEEKL’Y … DON’T LET THIS ONE GET (( DISAPEAR)) AWAY. !! ( YOU HAVE MY VOTE ) PLEASE RENEW IT . !!!! ” LOVE HARRY…… ” SHE’S FUNNY…..
PLEASE!!! Bring this show back!! Kathy Bates is a wonderful actress. This is one of our favorite shows. One reason it may have low ratings is b/c of moving it around and not giving the viewers an idea of when/where it will be aired. There are soooo many shows that need to be axed – and this is NOT one of them!! Please listen to the fans and keep this show on the air. Thank you!
I look forward to Harry ‘s Law every week and have been missing it these last few weeks . Can not believe this show might be cancelled and so much crap will be renewed. Something is seriously wrong out there in TV land!
I love harry’s law and kathy bates. Quality scripts and characters- what is wrong with nbc??
Donot let this show “GO” Away.
My favorite program ever. Don’t let this one of away.
This is 0ne of the few shows on TV that does not deal in sex, vulgarity, violence, or inane comedy. It deals with current situiations in a thought provoking manner and always has a moral at the conclusion. The cast is terrific, and it can’t be all bad if Kathy Bates was nominated for a Golden Globe! Please renew it!
I love Harry’s Law! It is my absolutely favorite show and I miss it when it isn’t on. It is a quality show, one for which NBC should finally be proud! There are so many terrible shows on TV. The good shows that demonstrate a sense of moral fortitude do not seem to make it. What does that say about us? Maybe USA should pick it up. That network has some of the better shows on TV anyway.
Both my husband and I watch this show and enjoy it very much. Would HATE to see it end! Reminds me of when “The Unit” was cancelled, a very engrossing show of “Mission Impossible” ilk. It just went POOF, GONE!!!
An excellent show —very entertaining and thought provoking. Iwill miss this show
very much if cancelled.
My husband and I love Harry’s Law. Maybe the reason it is getting low ratings is because the network keeps moving it around. We never know what time or night it is on. Take some of the crazy reality shows off!!!!!!!
I LOVE Harry’s Law and have been looking for it so finally googled to find this info. PLEASE don’t take this off the air and leave those other “stupid” shows on – I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings so won’t mention by name – – but, some of your viewers like me, over 30, like a good show with seasoned actors and not just stupid comedies.
Harry’s Law like Boston Legal is thought provoking, presents contemporary issues and injects just enough humor. Kathy Bates is fantastic. It would really be a shame to cancel one of the really good shows. It has been a favorite of ours since it began.
We agree with all of the above. While I regularly watch a lot of TV programs, this is the only one my husband watches and we both really like it. Agree that there is so much crap out there, why cancel a good one like Harry’s Law. Reminds me of Boston Legal with its current topics.
