We’ve received a few emails from readers asking if Harry’s Law has been cancelled. After all, the last original episode of the Kathy Bates series aired on January 18th.
The legal drama has certainly been struggling in the ratings and is one of the lowest-rated shows on the network this season. But, while it’s hard to imagine that Harry’s Law will be renewed for a third season, the series hasn’t been cancelled just yet. It does have a lot of viewers, just not in the desired demographic unfortunately.
Harry’s Law is on hiatus and won’t return until March 11th, once the February sweeps period has finished. NBC ordered 22 episodes for the current season so there are 10 installments left to air.
Since it’s likely that the show won’t be back, hopefully the cast and crew won’t leave viewers with a cliffhanger in the last episode.
What do you think? Are you still watching Harry’s Law? Do you miss it when it’s not on?

One of the best shows on tv. Wednesday slot was perfect; no competition.
We love this and can,t wait for it to come back and we are keeping our fingers crossed that they won,t cancel another good show
They should have kept the original cast. Isn’t that when they first got all the great ratings?
A very entertaining and well acted show. Rather than cancel, consider moving the day or the time.
Keep Harry’s Law. So few TV Shows remain which offer intelligent and stimulate discussion. I am sick and tired of “reality shows” and so-callled “comedies”.
We love Harry’s Law. Kathy Bates is wonderful! Please don’t cancel this show. What will replace it, another brainless reality show? I never watch any of them now, and certainly won’t in the future. Some of us are way past 49, but we still like dramatic shows and story lines that make sense. Harry does that. We also spend a lot of the money for sponsors products. Without us, you might not have so much monetary help.
Who in the world does these ratings. this show is fresh and different from all the other shows filled with murders to be solved, people flying in and out of bed with another and the stupid reality shows. A totally great concept. No wonder NBC is outbid whack…they don’t know whe they have a winner…….
it’ s among our all time favorite shows…..free from all the sexual immorality of the rest of TV. Absolutely love Kathy Bates…please, please don’t cancel
This series is very engaging as are all series developed by David Kelly who is a genius of his craft. However, I believe it was a mistake to move Harry uptown adding additional characters and removing those that comprised the older shows. It was the neighborhood and the original off-beat characters that made the show more attractive although Kelley’s writing is always the best. That the show is very low in the ratings says something about the mentality of present day TV viewers.
I cant imagine who the network polled that Harry’s Law is at the bottom of the ratings. I feel it is one of the best shows on TV and have been upset that I have read no news about it. Lots and lots of shows should be dumped before this one!!
MY FAVORITE REAL SHOW ON TV WITH REAL AWARD WINNING ACTORS. lOVE HARRY’S CHARACTER-NO MORE REALITY(??) SHOWS
Rating would improve if they would NOT have moved it so often; I had to keep looking for it! I like it because it has a great cast and it is not a mirrored image of all the other shows out there. It seems the networks are stuck on just a couple copy-cat themes. Harry’s Law is a refreshing change! There are so many other shows that should be saying their good byes, but NOT Harry’s Law. Keep Harry’s Law!!!
Loved that show, Keep it.
I’m sure you will cancel this great program, as whatever I like usually is. Cannot stomach any CSI, Law and Order, or reality show. This show was new and well written. It’s one of the few entertaining, good programs on your channel. No wonder your network is about ready to become a thing of the past!!!! Don’t know what idiot makes the decisions, but obviously that person is out of touch with reality and what the public wants to watch.
I was SO disappointed by the supposed cancellation of this fine show! When I read that it would move to Sunday evening I was thrilled. It would be a suberb replacement for ” Murder She Wrote”. Please don’t cancel it.
