We’ve received a few emails from readers asking if Harry’s Law has been cancelled. After all, the last original episode of the Kathy Bates series aired on January 18th.
The legal drama has certainly been struggling in the ratings and is one of the lowest-rated shows on the network this season. But, while it’s hard to imagine that Harry’s Law will be renewed for a third season, the series hasn’t been cancelled just yet. It does have a lot of viewers, just not in the desired demographic unfortunately.
Harry’s Law is on hiatus and won’t return until March 11th, once the February sweeps period has finished. NBC ordered 22 episodes for the current season so there are 10 installments left to air.
Since it’s likely that the show won’t be back, hopefully the cast and crew won’t leave viewers with a cliffhanger in the last episode.
What do you think? Are you still watching Harry’s Law? Do you miss it when it’s not on?

I think that Harry’s Law is one of the best shows on T.V. Hopefully, it will be renewed. All of the actors on the show are very talented and are a pleasure to watch.
I enjoy Harry’s Law. I hope if they do cancel TNT or another network picks it up. I am a fan of Kathy Bates but the whole cast has a good chemistry for the show. I hope they have a change of heart. Remember Southland.
We adore Harry’s Law. It is so rare that we are treated to a brilliantly written, wonderful cast, that leaves an intelligent audience waiting each week for the next episode. Please
don’t cancel this show, and leave people with brains at least one show to enjoy.
Why is it that dumb network execs continue to try to please the demographic of young people only? We, of the older generation, have and spend more money. That’s why we have such inane reality shows dominating the airways – it appeals to brainless people. When you find an intelligent and funny show like Harry’s Law, the network axes is. Thank goodness for cable.
Well, no wonder the numbers are down!! You changed nights on us! If not for the fact that I have my DVR set to recod Harry’s Law “any day, any time” I might have missed it entirely!! Sunday nights used to belong to the mysteries – Columbo, Murder She Wrote, etc. But NOW they have turned into the dumping ground for shows that are in danger of cancellation, as if you want to see how dedicated we are to finding them. Last year it was CSI:Miami on Sundays after the games and never starting on time. Now you’ve put Harry’s… Read more »
HARRY ‘ S Law
If NBC is so bent on canceling this show, I hope someone like HBO picks up. This show will THRIVE, if it was marketed well no matter what time slot it was given. NBC (No Better Channel) to watch will opt out to lead television in a conscienciousness of integrity, and decency, to play the familar game of “Follow ratings to the Destruction of civilization ” but hey we made a lot of $$$$$ didn’t we! Good luck NBC … You gonna need it
Harry’s Law is one of the best written series that NBC is airing. The series is not only entertaining but actually intelligent. For those of us here that think that reality TV has little to do with reality, we need a program that doesn’t expect everyone to have a child like mentality. Harry’s Law lives up to that potential without giving up enjoyability.
Great writing. Talented cast. Brain dead, shallow viewers.
All adds up to cancellation on this network. Duh.
I agree Kat the show is great and it would be missed. Great cast.
Harry’s Law is bright and well written with interesting, intelligent actors….just the sort of show the networks love to cancel…e.g. West Wing, Boston Legal, Boston Public…
Please NBC, bring Harry’s Law back!! from Joy in Colorado
I really hope that they won’t cancel Harry’s Law. It’s one of the few “adult” shows that is thought provoking, fun and interesting and we’re really sick and tired of stupid UNfunny sitcoms and even more stupid reality shows!
I agree with Kat. The networks have tried to save too much money with reality tv instead of investing in good series television. Harry’s Law is a good show and the characters entertaining. While I love reading books, I also enjoy a show that will engage my mind in a similar way. My hope is that NBC will not cancel this show.
Yes! My husband and I watch Harry’s Law and look forward to each episode. Please don’t cancel it!
Love Harrys law. Great stories and characters. Don’t cancel!
Harry’s Law is highly entertaining and addictive. The characters are interesting, and the show is a welcome oasis in a wasteland of inane reality shows. Give me smart fiction any day.
