It wasn’t a stellar debut for this new series with a 08. rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.88 million viewers. Though Hart of Dixie built slightly on the Gossip Girl lead-in, it was the weakest of the network’s series premieres and that doesn’t bode well for the future.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

The pilot was not great but it got better and better in each episode. I really hope it gets a second season. I love Wade by the way!!
Love it! Renew it please!!!!!
I absolutely love this show! It’s funny, maybe a little cheesy, but it is still fun to watch. Rachel Bilson and Scott Porter are great! Jaime King could tone down the “Belle” a little. I’ve lived in the deep south my entire life; we just don’t act like that. It’s a little bit Sweet Home Alabama, a little bit Gilmore Girls, and a little bit One Tree Hill. It’s great! Keep it!
I like it a lot, espeically because of Wade and Zoe. It’s cute, funny, and charming.
Lemon may be kind of out there, but that’s just the character and her own personal style. She’s the only one on the show who dresses so conservatively besides some of the matrons.
And those Belle dresses were for a parade, it’s not like they walk around in those!
I just love this show!!!!!!! PLEASE KEEP IT ON…..
Hart of Dixie is awesome! Hope next week’s episode gets better than ratings, the week off hurt the show.
Horrible show.
I forgot to say that I hope the show is given a chance!
I like the show – it’s different & funny & has some quirky characters.
Good show,very refreshing and entertaining.
I just saw the first 3 episodes of Hart of Dixie, and I think we should give it a chance.. I love all the character, they may be stereotypical but it’s funny and cute. I want a second season >_<
Please do not cancel the show..I love it!!
I’m going to say that they really blew it when they wrote the opener. Really? With the dixie belle dresses? I was transplanted to Alabama 30 years ago under protest myself. I can honestly say I have NEVER seen the first Belle dress on a woman unless she was doing a Tara tour and even then it wasn’t quite as tacky as what they had these girls in. I cannot believe how stereotypical they wrote this show. And I’ve got news for everyone, Miss Lemon society chick……….not real folks. Still haven’t me one of them either.
I really love this show…. It’s cute & different.. Please do not cancel….
I Love Hart of Dixie!!! I hope that it will be renewed for a second season… So many times good shows aren’t given the opportunity to build a fan base when there are so many shows out there already established and they don’t get a chance to compete… I love the characters on Hart of Dixie it’s a Great show!!!
