It wasn’t a stellar debut for this new series with a 08. rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.88 million viewers. Though Hart of Dixie built slightly on the Gossip Girl lead-in, it was the weakest of the network’s series premieres and that doesn’t bode well for the future.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

This show needs to stay on. The market is DROWNING IN REALITY SHOWS that would never happen in majority of people’s lives. As another poster states, we have had enough of reality in our own lives….we unwind with a good down to earth, funny, fictional story to escape our hustle and bustle lifestyles. I watch this before going to bed.
keep it its cute takes your mind off the more serious stuff
I have never been much of a CW fan. But this year they have finally got me hooked. Heart of Dixie, Ringer, and Secret Circle are must see shows, that I never miss. Now if only CW offered an OnDemand option, I would watch them over and over and over each week like I do with so many other shows. (I watch True Blood multiple times a week every week of the year between OnDemand and HBOGo) If these shows get canceled I will just have to go back to watching all of the other networks like I used to.… Read more »

I love this show. All of the charactors are so quirky and fun and I cant wait from week to week to see what will happen next. Love it, Love it!
I love the show. I down really watch that channel anymore because all the shows are just so in your face with what’s wrong with the world today. Hart of Dixie just reminds you of a simpler time when people cared and had a conciounse. It’s kinda refreshing to be reminded that the whole world is not represented by NY or Hollywood.
I love this show, it is actullay one of my favorites this season! I really hope it does not get cancelled and gets renewed for a season 2!!!
I love this show. I live 30 minutes from Mobile, AL – so I see a lot that is “wrong” with this show, such as – No air-conditioning?? early this week it was 80 degrees here – we definitely have a/c . I don’t know anyone in 2011 that dresses like Lemon – no matter what their social status. The Asian lady has a southern accent?? What?? In the area this is supposed to be, there are many Asian people and they have Asian accents – not southern. But I take this show as a bit of whimsy – equate… Read more »

Love It .Makes me smile and laugh and just fill good.
Love the show!
I Love this show, the Best thing about it, is it’s ORIGINALITY. It might not be “reality” but isn’t that why we watch TV to begin with, I get enough reality in my life. I hope they give it more than one season, but only time will tell!
