In October, we reported that FOX was developing a new Marvel series called Hellfire. Now, the series’ creators are leaving the project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Hellfire is based on the elite club of millionaires that often come into conflict with the X-Men.
Both writers for the show, Manny Coto and Evan Katz, are leaving the show to focus on the new 24 reboot, 24: Legacy, which just received a pilot order. Meanwhile Patrick McKay and John D. Payne, who helped developed the story for Hellfire with Coto and Katz, are leaving as well.
The Hollywood Reporter says FOX has not scrapped plans for Hellfire, but they are searching for a new writer and have postponed the pilot.
What do you think? Would you watch Hellfire? Are there enough comic book series on TV already?
