FOX has ordered 15th and 16th seasons of the Gordon Ramsay-hosted culinary competition series HELL’S KITCHEN, it was announced today by Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs of Fox Television Group. In the hit cooking series, aspiring chefs are put through an intense culinary academy to prove they possess the right combination of ingredients to win a life-changing grand prize.
“We’ve always been huge fans of Gordon – he’s passionate, authentic and absolutely fearless, and that comes through in everything he does,” said Walden and Newman. “With his massive global brand and his unbelievably loyal fans, Gordon has become one of the biggest names in the culinary world and one of the biggest talents in television – and we’re ecstatic to extend our partnership with him and the incredible team at HELL’S KITCHEN.”
Season 13 concludes with a special two-hour Season Finale and milestone 200th episode tonight (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). In the first hour, Chef Ramsay tests the final four contestants’ senses of sight, taste and smell in the HELL’S KITCHEN classic, the “Taste It Now Make It” challenge. The winning chef will be treated to a luxurious afternoon with special guests – members of his/her family! Meanwhile, the other contestants will remain at HELL’S KITCHEN to prepare for the 200th dinner service. Later, during the milestone dinner service, the contestants must prove their leadership skills when they each take a run at the pass, and Chef Ramsay determines which two chefs will advance to the finale.
In the second hour (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), Chef Ramsay sets the stage for the remaining two contestants, when he challenges them to create five unique dishes in one hour. In each round, the finalists’ dishes will be judged by award-winning chefs: David LeFevre (M.B. Post); Dominque Crenn (Atelier Crenn); Josiah Citrin (Melisse), Matthew Kirkley (L20) and Randy Lutz (Ame). Later, with the help of former HELL’S KITCHEN contestants, the two finalists prepare their menus for the most important dinner service of their lives. After an epic battle in the kitchen during the final dinner service, only one chef will be crowned HELL’S KITCHEN winner and receive a life-changing grand prize: a Head Chef position at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City, a total prize value of $250,000.

What do you think? Do you like the Hell’s Kitchen TV show? Are you glad to hear that it will be around for a long time to come?
I live the show. What I have tribe with is the smoking. Smoking is a health risk, why permit the amature cooks to smoke in their rooms. Some don’t smoke and they have to inhale second hand smoke. What’s the deal with this?
I LOVE WATCHING HELL’S KITCHEN. MY SON AND I WATCH IT AND LOOK FORWARD TO IT. I LOVE CHEF RAMSEY AND NO ONE COULD DO THAT SHOW BETTER THAN HIM. I WISH THAT I COULD MEET GORDON RAMSEY.
