Sorry, Greg Grunberg. It turns out that Ali Larter might just be right. It seems that the Heroes wrap-up movie isn’t happening.
As fans know all too well, after NBC cancelled Heroes in May, there was talk about wrapping up the TV show’s storylines as either a movie or a mini-series. Despite the fact that some time had passed, series creator Tim Kring recently indicated he was still optimistic.
He said, “It looks like we’re really going to start talking about it now. The summer months in television are always about preparing for the Fall launch of all the new shows, so I totally understand why there hasn’t been a lot of discussion [until now]. Once the Fall season is launched, I fully believe that this discussion will get reignited in a very big way.”
Now, according to EW sources, NBC isn’t going ahead with the project, at least for the 2010-11 season. However, that may not be the end of the Heroes universe. Kring believes that the show’s broad premise allows for many different stories to be told in many different ways.
What do you think? If not onscreen, how would you like to see Heroes continue — as books, comics, animation, web shorts, or in some other form?

Dont let Heroes end, please! i don’t see what harm a series finale movie or something would do. It would just make every Heroes fan happy! All these comments should be taken into consideration. I wander if there are any petitions been set up for a Season 5.
Please at least wrap it up with some sort of movie or mini-series. This was by far the best show I have watched all the seasons of and so many people will be very disappointed not to see some sort of wrap up.
Just move it over to syfy the channel. I bet it will do better there.
PLEASE bring back Heroes!!! I am tired of all the shows with a somewhat decent storyline getting cancelled and being left up in the air. Give us a wrap up, but not in books. Books would definitely not do this show justice. Too many things to love visually and words just won’t work.
I think NBC is so stupid for cancelling Heroes. It was a great show
please bring it back, such a great show!
It is the best serial I’ve ever watch! And now I miss the time when I can watch something new in it… it is so interesting to know what will happend after 4th season!!… I’m sure the idea is ready. So why they can’t publish the book??…
Please bring our Heroes back in live!…
I love the show…please bring it back or at least wrap up the story line in a 4 episodes or so.
Ive followed the show since it began sept. 8,2006. I have never been tuned in to t.v. like I am when I watch Heroes. I dont have anything bad to say. I just want Milo and Zachary know that they have inspired me and made me the person I am now. Thank you for 5 volumes and 4 great seasons. If Tim Kring ever does a movie let me know, I have great storylines he would be interested in.
I hate to think it, yet I wouldn’t doubt it… But I wouldn’t be surprised if some obsessed fanatic set out to seriously attack nbc because of this egregious neglect of their fans. It is the ever faithful and ever enduring fans that pay those greedy network drones’ paychecks. It may be high time nbc cleaned house and hired some real employees with brains.
PLEASE DON’T END IT YET!!! I wish you could keep it going for many more seasons but since you cant, at least give us one more season…or at least the movie I heard about!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CONTINUE THE SHOW!!!!!
I watched all four seasons in two days because it was so good.all my friends are getting hooked so they shouldn’t end it now
I think we need to contact the creator!
Please bring it back show up nbc its your falt you probably stole ideas from this guy, but samuel and the carnaval is kind of wierd keep it up Greg im sorry for our losses it was one of the best shows i ever watched
PLEASE bring it back and if you won’t do that then at least make a movie and have a conclusion. It was my favorite show! I got DVR just so I wouldn’t miss Heroes! Please have a conclusion!
Bring it back for a wrap up!!!! My teenage boys and I loved watching this show together:( What a loss!
