The ratings for this staple of TV Land have been falling for years. They’re a far cry from the first season’s 3.12 million average. Will they start to recover this year? Could this be the final season for Hot in Cleveland? Cancelled or renewed for season seven? Stay tuned.
Hot in Cleveland continues to follow the lives of three middle-age ladies from Los Angeles — writer Melanie Moretti (Valerie Bertinelli), beautician Joy Scoggs (Jane Leeves), and actress Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick). When their flight to Paris makes an emergency landing in Cleveland, Ohio, they discover a community that’s less shallow and youth-obsessed. They move there and lease a home with a sassy caretaker, Elka Ostrovsky (Betty White).
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
11/17 update: TV Land has announced that season six will be the end.

What do you think? Do you still like the Hot in Cleveland TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a seventh season?
I thought I read that Betty White didn’t want to do a 7th season. I have been wondering for years now when she was going to finally want to take a rest. She is 92+ after all.
Keep hot in Cleveland. One best sitcoms on tv. Tvland rather run countless hours of family feud. Hot in Cleveland made you relevant. Lost a viewer.
Glad to see it go off. They are all annoying. Started to watch it once and had to shut it off.
I love Hot In Cleveland! Such talent and great guest stars. The show makes us all take a good look at life and how friends, even though indifferent, can become family. Please TV Land reconsider. Your making a terrible mistake canceling this show.
Love the show!
I still love this show. I don’t want it to stop,
We LOVE this show! It really makes us laugh at ourselves and our society. But the younger people they think, want to have another police show with bullets flying. Why can’t they appreciate humor for what it is. It is well-written and we are all disappointed in the network. There are other people that spend money besides their “magic aged people.”
I’m very disappointed they are cancelling the show and so are most of my friends and family. Bad decision. It is one of the best shows on TV! Don’t have much reason to watch TV land anymore.
its sad to see such a creative show go off the air,, maybe another network will pick it up and give it a real stage to shine on with a bigger audience
you finally put 4 good and funnyy actors in a real good and funny sit com. and now you cancelled it ,i really think theres no way to calclate just how many people watch a show un less you monitor every tv in the us. so who ever makes the decision to cancell a show determons on false pretense.studioes put on shows that they want us t.o watch not what we want to watch.now the only good show on tv land is the exes if that gets cancelled im done with tv land,tv land is not that good of a… Read more »
I agree wholeheartly with Russell.
Sorry to see the show end. It was always entertaining. Enjoyed the cast chemistry. They had a lot of very nostalgic & popular guest stars. Thank You for the laughs.
What a shame to cancel this very funny and entertaining show. Yes it may not have the most believable story lines, but who cares. It makes us laugh and reminds us how wonderful this world would be if there were more of that. Betty, Valerie, Jane and Wendy are are so funny and have such good chemistry. I was really fortunate to see a taping of the show in Los Angeles this October. I never laughed so much in all my years on this earth. This show should definitely not be canceled.
Agreed. Love this show. Just funny tv. No thinking. The cast is superb and gets along wonderfully.
I did read in the tabloids while waiting in the supermarket line that Betty White may be ill. I sure hope not.
If so, get well quickly Betty.
You know, with all the bad things going on in this world and honestly, some of the shows that the network executives feel is the next greatest show, Hot in Cleveland gives the viewers a chance to excape into laughter and the cast works so very well together. It would be a shame to see this show leave and get replaced with something less desirable.
I so agree with Scott. Hopefully more viewers will feel the same.
I really enjoy this program. The story lines are cute and I really like the actress’s. Just plain fun. I think a lot viewers never know when it is coming back on. I think more episides per season and let us know when it is going to return.
