Telly’s Take
The premiere episode earned low numbers and the ratings have improved only slightly. The premium cabler needs a new hit but it’s clear that this show isn’t it. I suspect I’m Dying Up Here will be cancelled but I’ll keep a hungry eye trained on the ratings and update this page as needed. What do you think? Are you glad that the I’m Dying Up Here TV show was renewed for a second season? How would you feel if Showtime had cancelled this TV show, instead?
Im Dying Up Here has been the best show i’ve seen in 2017. It would be a shame to let a show such as this not to be renewed for at least a second season. The casting as well as the actors ability to perform and relate to actually being a stand up comic is something fresh and innovative. Keep up the great work. I’d suggest advertising it more as I didn’t see a single commercial for this show but began watching affter seeing Jim Carrey’s name.
