Is there a future for Kevin (Probably) Saves the World? Are you watching the ABC TV show? Do you think the network should change the timeslot for the low-rated series?
The comedy-drama, which currently airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, centers on Kevin Finn (Jason Ritter), a selfish and materialistic man who must commit acts of acts of kindness to save the world. The cast also includes JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Chloe East, J. August Richards, Dustin Ybarra, and India de Beaufort.
Since its October debut, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World has really struggled in the ratings. So far, season one is averaging a 0.72 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 3.029 million viewers, making it one of ABC’s lowest-rated series for the 2017-2018 season.
However, despite low ratings, the show seems to be popular with viewers. Kevin (Probably) Saves the World is currently one of the top-rated ABC shows in our viewer rankings. So what’s the problem?
Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT have been a trouble spot for ABC for several years. Many TV series have held the timeslot and have been cancelled after one short season. They including Combat Hospital, Killer Women, Of Kings and Prophets, Wicked City, Forever, Lucky 7, Detroit 1-8-7, and Mind Games.
Do think ABC should save Kevin (Probably) Saves the World by changing it to a better timeslot? When would you air it? Is it a better show than the ratings seem to indicate? Tell us what you think.
Most 9 pm central shows are struggling in the ratings, but this is a nice wholesome show the whole family can watch and maybe even learning a little about life.
I would love to see this show continue. It’s so hard for me to watch every week, but I always watch online to catch up with that week’s episode. It’s not often that there is a show that the whole family can watch and enjoy. Wish there were more shows like this.
Love this show. It should probably air at 8 or 9pm to get more viewers. I DVR the show so it does not matter to me. Please renew Kevin (Probably) Saves the World as it is a unique show and deliver such positive messages in a time when our country really needs it!
I just love this show and watch it with my children and grandchildren, I would hate to see it go away. There are not that many family shows, please move it to an earlier hour.
Love this show!!!! Jason Ritter is absolutely terrific!! Would like it to air earlier than 10:00 though. Great family show so should be in earlier time slot.
I LOVE this show and also have to record it for my family to watch because it is one too late for a weeknight.
Saw the first episode and I was embarrassed for poor Jason Ritter. I couldn’t watch it as it was super cringe-worthy. Terrible show. Moving it won’t make it less awful.
Noooooooo! Please don’t cancel this show! I went online to see if the new episode has been aired to watch on Hulu because 10pm is too late for us and came across some articles that said it may be cancelled! I told my husband and he said “What? That’s a great show! It makes you feel good!” I agree 100%, it makes you feel good! It’s one of the only shows that has great wholesome content and does not revolve around sex and violence. We can actually watch this with our toddler in the room! It’s a wonderful show!!!
Love this show! Earlier time slot would be better and allow more people to see this family friendly show. This show touches my heart like no other does. Please give it a better time and More time.
Last Fall Kevin was in direct opposition with Jason in Long Road Home on Nat’l. Geography channel! That was a terrible dilemma for viewers! If Long Road Home will continue to run at 10:00 P.M., move Kevin to 9:00 P.M. !!
My Husband and I watch the show all the time. We love it. We do record it and I think it could be a bit earlier. Please keep it going for a while more. It is a great show and needs a longer chance.
I don’t really care for it .
Wonderful family show. Would rock an eatlier time slot
I don’t know about the time slot issue but I really like the show! If changing the day or time increases the viewers, that’s ok as long as the show stays on the air. It has a great cast and really good plot.
It’s a show geared for families so it needs to be on Saturday at 8. Give it a shot please.
