Airing on the FOX television network, The Last Man on Earth follows Phil Tandy Miller (Will Forte). Telly’s Take
With low ratings, The Last Man on Earth has been ripe for the picking for quite awhile but, year after year, it’s escaped my grasp. The numbers have dropped again this year. At the end of this season, the Last Man on Earth series will have 49 episodes and that’s not enough for much of a syndication package. My suspicion is that FOX will renew this show for a fourth season but they could easily cancel it if they feel they have better new comedies in the pipeline.
5/10/17 update: FOX has renewed The Last Man on Earth for a fourth season. Details here.

Please don’t take Last Man off the air. Awesome show. Miss watching it.
For areally dumb show it’s not that bad! After every show my wife and I ask why do we watch this stupid story! I would recomend it be an hour long and I keep thinking it’s going to get better!
Best news ever!!! the show has a huge following in Australia but we need to download it unfortunately as its not showing on Australian network
First of all these so-called Nielsen ratings are not a true indication of what people are actually watching. Not to mention people that DVR the show because they can’t watch it when it is actually on. Guess Fox hasn’t learned his lesson from cancelling good shows and leaving crap on TV
we need season 4!
