The Last Ship is already looking ahead to its fifth season. Season four is set to arrive later this year, and season five will arrive Summer 2018.
Deadline reported that Emerson Brooks will be a series regular on the TNT series during season five. The news outlet shared the following about the casting move:
“Brooks will of course be playing the Captain Joseph Meylan character that was introduced for a multi-episode arc for Season 3, which debuted on May 30, 2016. Now aboard the fictional USS Nathan James, the former commanding officer of the USS Hayward has become a trusted ally to Eric Dane’s Captain Tom Chandler, who resigned from the depleted Navy at the end of Season 3 …got all that?”

I think that THE LAST SHIP is one of the BEST TV shows I have ever seen. Whoever is writing for the show is doing a great job!!!! Can’t wait till the next season starts!!!!

I really enjoy the show, but anything is like the last year’s series shows in trouble. I wouldnt even be thinking about me 2018. They better get the series back on the track, because if they don’t it is set they better get the series back on the track, because if they don’t with this ship is sunk! They played around with too many of the characters killing off the majority of the lead actors and actresses. And then Expect us to except anything they put it on?
U r so right no good doctor thought her and captain were going to be together they kill her off and the guy fines his daughter Katie and he kills off hope no more people that we like
I love the show it should stay it is a great show
