Word is circulating today that Legend of the Seeker has been cancelled after two seasons. There hasn’t been an official announcement yet but it doesn’t look like there will be a third season.
Legend of the Seeker is a fantasy series about a young woodsman (Craig Horner) who discovers he is actually destined to be a heroic Seeker. The series also stars Bridget Regan, Bruce Spence, Craig Parker, and Kevin J. Wilson.
Things haven’t been looking so good for the syndicated series for awhile. The ratings had dropped and, last month, the Tribune company (which owns a lot of local stations that air LOS) decided not to pick it up for a third year.
ABC Studios and show producers said that the show had not being cancelled yet and that the studio was searching for other local stations to fill in for the Tribune stations.
There had been unofficial word that that process was going well. However, now it seems that ABC couldn’t find enough takers for LOS.
Sad as this news might be, it doesn’t come as a big surprise. The season’s viewership started at about 2.5 million in November and the April 10th episode barely brought in two million. That’s not an attractive trend for a new buyers.
Hopefully, the producers will be able to include some degree of closure to the final episode.

The stories behind, “Legend of the Seeker”, were so well written, it kept you on your toes and waiting for the next adventure. Love the stories, characters and the writers!!!!!!!!
BRING THE LOS BACK!!!!! IT WAS AN AWSOME SHOW. DO YOU PEOPLE EVEN COUNT THE ONLINE WATCHERS? MAYBE THATS WHY IT DROPPED FROM TV WATCHERS BECAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE WATCH ONLINE NOW? STOP CANCELLING GOOD SHOWS BASED JUST ON TV RATINGS. THIS IS LIKE THE 4TH GOOD SHOW THATS BEED CANCELLED BECAUSE OF THAT. YOU WANT US TO KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES AND ALL THIS INTERNET STUFF THEN YOU NEED TO DO THE SAME DARN IT!!!!!!
I’m a seaman. I loved watching the last 2 seasons and i want and waiting for the rest of the seasons until to reached the FINAL season. So please continue filming LOS with the same ACTORS. I LOVED ” BRIDGET REGAN ” Thank you very much the producers as well as the actors.
We recently discovered “The Legend of the Seeker” on Netflix and loved it. I wish that it had not been cancelled. Maybe since we had never seen it when it first aired others hadn’t either. Could it have been on when other popular shows were competing against it. It is too bad because we really liked it and would have continued to watch it if it was still on.
i love the seeker it has been my favorite show since the begining of the series it is the best show on tv i can watch it with my grand kids there is no ugly language no really sex sceanes to amount to much i wish it could be brought back how come all the good shows are cancelled tv has gone to the dogs today there is not many tv shows that all the family can watch now there use to be family time to watch tv not any more because all of sex scenes and ugly language i… Read more »

Plz bring back legend of the seeker I watched it every Sunday n even way before when. It first started . And even if it came on at 1130 but I say yu bring it back I love that shooow.

This was a great show the great actors and we really wish that it would come back with the same actors and all. One of the best shows that has been out there. Time slots can really make a differnce for shows. Early on Saturday and Sunday would seem bad times to me.
Why is it that all the good show are canceled? Bring back “Legend of the Seeker” please.
