What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the TNT cable channel, The Librarians stars Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth, John Harlan Kim, and John Larroquette, with Noah Wyle recurring as veteran librarian, Flynn Carsen. The series centers on the ancient organization dedicated to safeguarding an unknowing world from the secret, magical reality hidden all around. The librarians serve as the protectors of the world’s mystical treasures.
Season Four Ratings

Telly’s Take
The fourth season premiered with much lower numbers than last year and the averages are also lower. However, The Librarians is still doing pretty well when compared to the other TNT original series. I’d usually predict another renewal, but TNT has been repositioning itself as an edgier network, and I’m not quite sure The Librarians is still a good fit. I would like to see a Season 5 of The Librarians
This is smart television…the writing is clever and the acting is strong. The comedy is funny and the dramatic is heart-felt. Renew it! We need more TV like this!!!

I love the Librarians, and feel that it is a show worth keeping on for at least one more season, hopefully two more. We need great Drama/ Fantasy series on TV. To be perfectly honest, for me, unless this show is on, my TV is OFF. It’s just that good.

Plain and simple, unless you bring back Leverage you best not cancel The Librarians. It is the only show worth watching on your network. I am not alone in this. Everyone I talk to says the same thing “why bother”. Why invest time getting involved in characters and story lines when you know they have a short shelf life. I am livid over your choices. You are the Network that has no clue what your audience wants. Bring back Leverage or keep The Librarians. You killed Sharon Rador and pulled apart Rizzoli and Isles. While I don’t believe ultimatums are useful in this situation I do believe the author makes a very valuable point. Leverage and The Librarians are two shows carrying the TNT name that are truly family friendly. Many media viewers are unhappy with the mindless sitcoms, reality based shows, and gratuitous violence. Today our world is filled with hate and war. I believe the powers that make these types of decisions at TNT will agree that our families need to see people pooling resources and talents to “bring down” the bad guy. I hope that The Librarians is around for season 5 and then some! There are fewer and fewer shows that are so well done that the whole family can watch, please don’t take this one away.
Hoping they will renew the Librarians..it is funny, witty and just a pleasure to watch.
