A CBS sitcom, Living Biblically stars Jay R. Ferguson, Lindsey Kraft, Ian Gomez, David Krumholtz, Tony Rock, and Camryn Manheim. Based on the AJ Jacobs book, The Year of Living Biblically, the comedy centers on Chip Curry (Ferguson), a film critic for a New York City newspaper. After the death of his best friend, Chip decides to live a better life, through strict adherence to biblical precepts. Fortunately, he has the support of his good humored allies: his wife Leslie (Kraft); the “God Squad” (Gomez and Krumholtz); and his colleagues (Manheim and Rock). As he sets out on his journey, Chip wonders if the results will be of biblical proportions. **Status update below.

I thought this was a decent show. Funny at times. Too bad they cancelled it.sPfr8
Not a very good show.
I saw the show tonight for the first time. In my opinion, the show can be compared to a person blind from birth trying to describe a sunrise. They just don’t get it. It was kind of sad, really.
It is funny and refreshing. I love it and hope it gets renewed! There has to be others out there that like good, clean fun.
Good cast on a poor show. Maybe it will get better but so far it’s not cutting it.
I agree, except it hasn’t gotten any better!
This goober takes every law from the old testament from different tribes/cultures/etc. and tries to combine them all (except the hardcore ones) for a laugh. Just another way Hollywood is poking fun at religion. How about you start at Genesis, make notes of what is renewed, what is released/changed, and follow the final rule set when you get to Revelation?
