TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
There are very few shows left for families to watch , Longmire is a very good intertaining and interesting show. We have to many sit cam.
Just got into Longmire and now its gone? There is so many crap shows on TV and you get rid of something good? I don’t get it!
Pissed off at A&E for cancelling Longmire I really enjoy watching the show. I now boycott A&E until they bring the show back.
Please bring Longmire back!!! We love it!
Please bring Longmire back!!!
Longmire, a great & interesting TV program.Cancelled ? Because its’ main /leading actor is too old ? What about Betty White & numerous senior actors still working ?I understand the
net work gears its programs towards the younger viewers. Most of the younger generation watch idiot, senseless trash. Most of them don’t understand an intelligent program, due to
the brainless trash geared to their generation.Bring back Longmire, one of the few TV
programs that was/ is worth viewing, due to its excellent writing & acting.
We loved Longmire! It was a show the whole family loved to watch. A&E that was not a nice thing to do. Please bring it back!
The Longmore series was superb and surpassed all of the junk sitcoms out there. A&E was crazy to cancel it. Bring it back please
!
My Longmire program gone! Please say it is not so. I looked forward to every episode. And was really looking forward to it next season. Coworkers and I talk about it and now, uughh. I so hope A&E knows what a mistake this is, and they bring it back or another picks it up. Please I only have two programs that I follow and this is one. Don’t take it away!!!!
I cannot believe that Longmire is cancelled. It was one of the FEW shows both my husband and I watched and would recommend to others.I didn’t know anyone who didn’t like it.Bad move !
I can not believe that Longmire was canceled. If it wasn’t going to be renewed why did it end like it did? Now we will never NO if Barlow killed his son (Branch) Wake up Networks, this is a great series, hope to see it picked up for 2015.
Me, my husband, parents and 6 year old daughter have gotten so invested in this TV series. My daughter won’t let us watch an episode without her and she knows all of the characters and their agenda’s. As we watched the finale, our excitement could be seen in our eyes as we all discussed what would/could happen next……only to find out the series has been cancelled on A&E. We are so very, very unhappy! We want it back!
Love love this show!! Of course they would cancel this show!! It’s because it was good and why heaven forbid would you keep something decent on! Hoping for a miracle but not holding my breath
Why is it when a good program comes on they cancell and we don’t have an ending. Really liked The Glades, not to far out there with sexuality, Longmire, entertaining. I personally do not like the shows where morality has gone by the wayside. But that is what is being shoved on us.
When are you putting my tv show LONGMIRE back on . I t,s the best show on tv . put it on channel 12.
