George Lopez is returning to television. TV Land has released a new teaser for Lopez’s new series, the aptly titled Lopez.
The new show will premiere this spring.
Though little has been revealed about the series so far, Lopez will follow a fictional version of George Lopez as he navigates between being a successful comedian and sticking to his roots. TV Land has ordered 12 episodes for the comedy’s first season.
Lopez’s last sitcom, George Lopez, aired on ABC between 2002 and 2007. The series airs in syndication on TV Land’s sister network, Nick at Nite.

What do you think? Are you a fan of George Lopez? Will you watch his new show?

Love the show.
No show not that good. He’s really not that funny.
Funny
can’t wait.. my kids and I love his old show.. we still watch it almost everyday! a true family show without any of the bs nasty/sex scenes like other shows..

Duplicating these elements will be difficult, especially if Lopez wants to influence the audience in certain ways. For example, Lopez is very liberal and he may try to incorporate… Read more »
I can’t wait. This is going to be a great show!
Actually, his last sitcom was Saint George, trying to follow the same 10-90 deal that FX got with Anger Management, but they failed terribly with ratings.
What a waste of air time…I wouldn’t watch this clown even if you paid me. He’s stale, like all his antics, he’ll use all his old routines and it’ll be another lost show.
