Lucifer‘s in a bit of hot water. The Wrap reports the FOX series’ producing studio, Warner Bros., is being sued by the composers of the show’s theme song.
Just today, FOX announced they’ve renewed the drama for a third season. The cast includes Tom Ellis, Lauren German, D.B. Woodside, Tricia Helfer, Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
The lawsuit, filed by composers Robert and Aron Marderosian, alleges that “Warner Bros. and NS Pictures have commercially used, broadcast and exploited the ‘Lucifer’ main title theme without any agreement with or license from Plaintiffs.” The composers are asking for credit and compensation for their work on the Lucifer theme song,
Neither FOX nor Warner Bros. have made a comment regarding the lawsuit.

I am a christian.And know that Satan was Gods most powerful beautiful made in Gods image that tried to seize power in heaven.Even though several angles stood beside Satan and all were not killed by God but cast out meaning he had the love of a father to his children and could not bare to kill them. That being said the devil/satan would not be scaly with horns.But one of Gods most beautiful creations as were the other fallen angles. Huge fan of the show from day 1. It’s like “Da Vinci Code” mysticism + “Law & Order” police adventure with “Castle” humor thrown in. Can’t wait r season 3!

Lucifer is a wonderful show! So glad it’s being renewed for a 3rd season:) As for the theme song , mistakes are made. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional and it will be worked out. Has nothing to do with the quality of the show.

I very much agree Lucifer I believe is very good looking. As is rest of cast & story line is usually very good it is touch & cheek drama but well written I also am glad it is coming back Leigh
Lucifer is one of the more interesting and unique shows on TV today. Has plenty of potential for future development. Decent writing and a strong cast. Love Mazikeen (she is an under-developed character – how on earth have we not seen more of her before now?). I was completely unaware it had a “theme”.
