TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.

I absolutely love Lucifer it makes me laugh and I look forward to watching each new episode. I hope it stays on for a very Long time. It’s a great tongue in cheek look at what would happen if Lucifer came to LA please keep it coming I’d miss it greatly if it were to be cancelled.
I absolutely love Lucifer and would miss it so much! I watch it weekly then I binge watch the entire series after the season is finished. Lucifer is my favorite series on TV right now and I hope it has a very long life. Thank you to Fox and all of the Wonderful and VERY AMAZING people who make this show the Best Series on TV.
The final scene in “The Good… Crispy” and “Favorite Son” are nicely bookended. In the one Luci gets back the one thing that meant most to him and in the other he lost it. It’s great that the writers keep track of previous episodes. As for Chloe, if Luci wants a personal relationship with her he is almost back to square one. She is still angry, confused, and hurt by his first disappearance with no explanation and now he disappears for a second time. Trixie will be the one who brings them back together and how it takes our Luci… Read more »
Just an observation. I love the interactions among Trixie, Luci, and Maze but Trixie only appears in pivotal moments regarding the theme and main idea of any episode she appears in. Imagine calling her future step dad a wuss; only Trixie can do that and get away with it. Luci, I think is fonder of Trixie than he wants to let on.
Loving Lucifer!! Amenadiel was great along with Luci of course! Great ending with Luci out in the desert with his wings. Love it!!!
Great Season 2 finale. We got the usual laughs, Trixie calling Luci a wussie or Mom tossing her sons across the room and them breaking the piano , but also very poignant moments between Luci and Mom when he says goodbye to her. Now that Luci has his wings restored it’ll be interesting to see if he remains physically vulnerable around Chloe. We now have some idea of the main content of Season 3 and now the long wait. Somehow I think Luci is more like his Dad than he thinks he is. The writers deserve an award in writing… Read more »
The story line is great! Because I compare it with the bible and some of verses are explained in a way that even a child can understand, that free will can be practiced. Not everything is evil!
When we look at the Flaming Sword it was part of Dad’s plan to let Luci have it but in the end it was Luci’s choice what he did once he had it. At some point Luci will figure out that he wasn’t being manipulated by Dad but was given free will to make his choices. Amenadiel has figured that one out. The show addresses taking responsibilty for our choices.
Please do not cancel this show…I love lucy and all the characters. There is so much more to do on this show the story line is are limitless…..
Love this show. Into sci-fi/fantasy, NOT HORROR.

Lucifer has been renewed for Season 3
