TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
I look forward to this show each week. Please do not cancel it!!!!
I hope they change their mind. I love the show and don’t want to see it end. It’s a different kind of show and really entertaining. PLEASE DON’T CANCEL.
Noooo!!! The network is crazy! I’m so upset
Tell me it isn’t so!!! Please another network, please pick it up!
Tell me it isn’t so!! Please another network, please pick this up!
Please do not cancel Lucifer – we love the humor of this show!
Well if they cancel Lucifer (which I love) along with the probable cancellation of Lethal Weapon (which in my opinion is already cancelled if they’ve lost the main character that I like the best), then I really have no reason to watch FOX anymore since those were the two shows I liked the best. All I can say is, thanks for freeing up more time to spend on my PS4!
Please keep “Lucifer”. I have watched the show from the start, and continue to look forward to every episode. Love the cast and how the show is written.
With an interesting and unusual premise, Lucifer offers a unique program. Would like to see it continued
Keep lucifer alive! Great show, great characters, great storylines, keep it going
Renew Lucifer for Season 4 and many more after that!! There is much more of this story to be told – don’t end it now!! More Lucifer please.
Have watched Lucifer since it started & absolutely love this show. I really like how Lucifer’s character grew in 3rd season. I make sure to record it so I never miss an episode. Please renew for 4th season
I have watched Lucifer from the beginning. Needless to say every episode has drawn me in to the point where I can’t wait to see what the next and the next and the next episode will bring. I certainly hope that Lucifer can continue for many more seasons. Each individual actor does a magnificent job portraying their characters. They show their good sides and bad sides. Almost makes one feel like you know them in person. Keep the episodes/Series going Please.
Please, Please, Please DO NOT cxl my favorite show, I have watched this show from the very beginning. I travel a lot and I DO NOT get FOX at some of the places we stay at. So I subscribed to Hulu and Sling just to get FOX so I can watch Lucifer, If I have to go to this extent to see a show it has to be good. I watch one other show on FOX as well. So Please DONT cxl this show.
“Quintessential Deckerstar” is a parallel to “A Priest Walks into a Bar”. We have 2 brothers who become very close friends with the most unlikely people and both brothers suffer the same loss. One episode offers the hope of redemption and in the other redemption happens. One could write quite an extensive essay comparing and contrasting these two episodes but in short both are , in my opinion, the most emotionally moving. Amenadiel has learned what he is supposed to learn and Dad has given back his wings . As Charlotte dies we can see Amenadiel talking silently to Dad… Read more »
