TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
DONT CANCEL PLEASE THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE ONLY T>V> SERIES IVE COMPLETELY WATCHED AND DIDNT GET BORED OR MOVED TO ANOTHER PLEASE DONT RUIN THIS BY CANCELING
I finally found something interesting AND entertaining to watch, and it gets canceled… AGAIN! All that’s left is mindless, reality based CRAP!! Real Housewives, Kardashian scum… I can’t help but to wonder most of the time WHY I even bother watching TV at all!!
why end while it has so many fans
my family really liked Lucifer and do not want it to be cancelled we were left wandering as the last episode aired how the detective will deal with finding out the truth about Lucifer we would very much like to see season 4
They always cancel shows that are unique and load up on more crap reality shows. I thought TV shows were supposed to be entertainment but they have become few and far between.
AGREE TOTALLY ITS SO ANNOYING
Lucifer is my favorite show. I would watch every show twice…sometimes 3 times. I am very upset that it has been cancelled. And I hope that another network will pick it up.
I love Lucifer. It needs to be signed on for another season.
Why cancel it. It’s a good series and the type of plot that people like these days. The acting is good, as is the writing. I would think this show is popular enough to keep airing.
I really enjoy this show. The concept is unique and interesting and I hate to see it go.
I have thoroughly enjoyed Lucifer and would love to see it continue. I think Tom Ellis has done an outstanding job of playing this quirky character and his dialog delivery is a delight to the ear. The only reason I can see to cancel it is the writers have run out of ideas. Sad.
Why cancel this show and renew the Kartrashians? Doesn’t make sense. This show is funny and interesting to watch. This is a mistake.
Because The Voice is on Mondays, here in Canada we get Lucifer on Sundays. NO spoilers but to all the American Lucifer watchers don’t miss Episode 24. It’s awesome. It gives added incentive to save Lucifer. I don’t know what is wrong with FOX but to cancel this show is the biggest mistake FOX has ever made.
We have got to do our best to save Lucifer. SO make sure you tune in tomorrow and watch the last episode.
we love this show!! why in the world would you cancel it??? wonderful acting, wonderful writing, etc. etc. etc…. really??? you would do this to loyal fans??? why????
I’m upset too. Especially when I just read that FOX renewed Lethal Weapon even though the driving character (Riggs-a/k/a Clayne Crawford) won’t be in it. I guarantee it won’t last. Keep Lucifer and cancel Lethal Weapon…much better decision.
Why is this series being cancelled? It’s unique, well-acted, well-scripted and so very watchable. Please someone bring it back!
Very disappointed with FOX. Lucifer is one show I really enjoy watching. Although the premise is rather far fetched, it is still intriguing to watch. There a lot more shows on FOX worthy of cancellation. I really think they should reconsider.
I totally agree. I haven’t actually studied the current FOX line up but I’d be happy to do so and offer suggestions for shows much more worthy of cancellation than Lucifer.
