Will a new network and night be a paradise for Thomas, Higgins, and the Magnum PI TV show? As we all know, Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Magnum PI is cancelled or renewed for season six (an early report indicated NBC had picked up the series for fifth and sixth seasons of 10 episodes each but we now know that it was really for a fifth season of 20 episodes instead). Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the fifth season episodes of Magnum PI here. *Status Update Below.
An NBC action-adventure drama series, the Magnum PI TV show stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Amy Hill, and Tim Kang. This reboot of the 1980s TV show follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. The unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest, Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is also one of Magnum’s biggest fans.

This is one of the few shows I watch, fun, entertaining, clean. Please, yes keep this wonderful show. Cast of characters are perfect together.
Magnum is the best show on television. Fans are avid supporters of this show!!! I myself look forward to each episode! It is not all about blood and gore, but friends supporting one another. This is what we need in todays society!
Magnum PI should be renewed!! It is an excellent show. We love the actors and actresses. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and holds your interest !!
Because I love it they will probably cancel it. It is a great show with great fight scenes, fairly hot romance, interesting characters, decent scripts, terrific photography and beautiful scenery. (Although some drone transition shots are pretty old and new ones would be appreciated. ) I love the multi-story line approach in an episode.
Of course what do i know, I’m just a viewer and fan. I don’t have the big bucks.

Renew for at least one more season. I want to see where this show goes. I only found out from a post on Facebook it was cancelled on CBS and picked up on NBC and have been watching it from the beginning! Was difficult many previous viewers still don’t know.
I am so happy NBC has picked up Magnum PI. I love this show. Hope it will be broadcast many years to come!
