Mayans MC has some new company. Deadline reports Jacqueline Obradors has joined the FX TV pilot.
A spin-off of Sons of Anarchy, the drama will “focus on the struggles of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo), a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border.” The cast also includes Edward James Olmos, John Ortiz, and Clayton Cardenas.
Obradors has been cast as “Marisol Reyes, the soulful matriarch of the Reyes family and EZ’s mother.” As reported earlier, the FX pilot has received a tax credit from the California Film Commission.

Absolutely! “SOA” was an epic show, along with “Breaking Bad” and a few others. I’m hoping that this series will do justice to the original.
