What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, The Mick stars Kaitlin Olson, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton, Carla Jimenez, and Scott MacArthur. In the first season, grifter Mickey (Olson) was left to care for her sister’s spoiled little rich kids in affluent Greenwich, Connecticut. Season two finds Mickey in it for the long haul. She gets by with a little help from her sorta boyfriend, Jimmy (MacArthur), and Alba (Jimenez), the family’s live-in housekeeper. Mickey is determined to make through the tough times or black out.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of The Mick averaged a 0.73 rating in the 18-49 demographic and drawing an average audience of 2.10 million viewers. Compared to season one, it is down by 34% and down by 29%, respectively. Find out how The Mickstacks up against other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Despite a steady ratings decline, FOX renewed The Mick for a second season. Will it be so lucky, again? Things don’t look too good. The network has ordered additional episodes for season two but that could be more about filling timeslots than a sign that season three will be ordered. I suspect that FOX will pull the plug and try something new next season. I’ll update this page with any breaking developments. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the mick is renewed for another season. Its the funniest show that i’ve seen in a long time. And honestly i am surprised that anyone has negative reviews. If fox cancels the show, it will be a big mistake on their part.
Do not cancel The Mick. It’s outrageously funny and witty. It makes watching Tuesday night television bearable.

Please renew The Mick for season 3. It ended on a pretty big cliffhanger and you can’t just end a show like that. I’d hope that Fox would renew it. I’m nervous though because Fox has canceled quite a few of my favorite shows over the last few years after only 2-3 seasons. However my hope is they’d at least give us a final season and wrap things up a little. I’ll be so bummed if they cancel. 🙁
I think it will be renewed. It’s a fox-owned, fox-produced show, so money-wise its smart to keep it. Compared to other Fox comedies, it’s doing well. I think there’s a better chance of it being renewed than not. The Mick would be much better on Sunday night, and back in a 9:00 time slot.
Its also just straight hilarious. I’ve never seen a show so funny.

First of all, I read reviews all the time but have never written one as I’ve never cared enough about any show to express my desire of renewal. I absolutely love The Mick. It is definitely one of the funniest shows on TV right now, FOX is lucky to have it! It’s different, a little bit wholesome and lot of hilarious misadventures without getting too grimy. Every main character has made me laugh out loud; however, I find Jimmy, Mick and Alba especially funny. I was so excited to find this show on Hulu and will be more than disappointed… Read more »
There is not much TV left that is not “Blood and Guts”, This is a fun Series to watch, hopefully FOX will keep it going. On the other hand the writers need new ideas..

The Mick is very stupid.I wouldn’t watch again.
I agree this show is so bad, I only like the 2 boys, Mick and her boyfriend I can not stand. The maid I don’t care for either. Everything is so unrealistic and not funny at all.
I will not watch it anymore. Don’t like how they made fun of God.
