What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Midnight, Texas stars François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, Peter Mensah, Sarah Ramos, and Yul Vázquez. Based on the book series of the same name, from True Blood author Charlaine Harris, the supernatural drama plays out in the remote Texas town of Midnight, where nothing is what it seems. There, only outsiders belong, while normality is just plain weird. It is the best haven for people who need to hide from the world at large. The townies come together to form a sort of chosen family. Together they fend off external pressures from nosy police officers, vicious biker gangs, and their own dark pasts.

Telly’s Take
Midnight, Texas was originally supposed to premiere in the mid-season, but in the end, the Peacock network held it for summer. What’s more — they only ordered ten episodes. While none of that adds up to anything definitive, it could indicate that they have less faith in the series. The ratings have not been very good so I suspect that the show will be cancelled. I watched this show with my boyfriend and we both love it! Looking forward to season 2…I hope it comes out sooner then next summer! If by some crazy chance they decide to cancel it…well that would be stupid….so I can’t even believe they would consider that!

Although I was upset at first that the shows didn’t follow the books, I’ve grown fond of it – I sincerely hope that it’s not canceled.
I am going to be very upset if they cancel this show so far every show I truly enjoy gets cancelled. People rather watch crap like reality tv. You want reality step out your front door. Why watch it on tv as well. I loved ahows like True Blood, Vampire diaries, Grimm, American ripper, just to name a few that they cancelled.
I completely agree, I loved true blood, and Grimm. So many people wanna hear about stupid drama. But most of us want a juicy supernatural story, I really hope they have a season two of Midnight Texas!
