Are you watching Midnight, Texas? NBC has released new photos and details for the TV show’s upcoming season finale, but would you watch a second season?
Based on the book series by Charlaine Harris, the drama plays out in the remote Texas town of Midnight, where only outsiders belong while normality is just plain weird. The cast includes François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, Peter Mensah, Sarah Ramos, and Yul Vázquez.
It remains to be seen if NBC will renew Midnight, Texas for a second season. As of reporting, the series’ low ratings suggest a cancellation. So far, season one is averaging a 0.73 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.03 million viewers, making it one of the network’s lowest-rated shows for the 2016-2017 season.
The season one finale of Midnight, Texas premieres on NBC on September 18th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The Virgin SacrificeTHE GATES OF HELL HAVE OPENED IN MIDNIGHT – With Hell literally about to erupt onto Witch Light Road, and Fiji (Parisa Fitz-Henley) about to be claimed by the Demon who has been tormenting her, Manfred (François Arnaud) leads the Midnighters to take back their home from the evil forces that occupy it. As Bobo (Dylan Bruce) turns his attention to saving Fiji, Olivia (Arielle Kebbel) and Creek (Sarah Ramos) confront the wraiths. Manfred focuses on killing the demon and closing the veil with the help of Lem (Peter Mensah), Joe (Jason Lewis), and the Rev (Yul Vazquez). Manfred takes a desperate gamble and risks his life by asking for help from an unlikely source.

We love this show and all the characters.Sometime a first season does not go that well but when its picked up for a second viewers take notice.It has happened many times before.I hope it has a second season and given a chance. All my friends are now watching it too. The word is spreading.Come on NBC give us a season 2.

Midnight Texas awesome show..more story yet to be told.to many awful reality shows that are so annoying ..midnight Texas is a perfect escape from every day terrific actors great story just getting to know characters
I would watch season two because I’m curious to see the direction the writers would take the show. Since the season 1 finale looks to be very similar to the grande finale of the last book, the show would be moving beyond the books in season 2. I like that. I also love all the characters. BTW, at 66 years old, I’m not part of the “typical” demographic for this series. Then again, the characters are anything but typical 🙂
Pamela – we are not a part of the typical demographic either, however we love the show. I think that is a good thing and shows like this are for us.

Great show !!! Maybe move it to 9:00 pm time slot . My husband and I would absolutely watch season 2,3,4 the good shows keep getting canceled with junk

Please don’t cancel! I would definitely watch 2nd season.
With the tech available the producers could do net polls of individual fans to get a real feel for viewers. Learn from the goofs who canceled Firefly, Star trek and others. I liked this show and have it on disc still. These folks need another season to get tuned up.

Please keep the show Midnight Texas for a 2nd season. It is aired at a bad time, that’s why the ratings are low. Needs a better time slot.
