Shows are expensive. That’s why TV series are sponsored by popular brands like Microsoft, Coca-Cola, or one of many car companies. And sometimes the product placement can be a little distracting. What do you think? Do you mind product placement in TV shows?
Do you like when a TV show acknowledges the product, as Community did with Subway, 30 Rock did with Snapple, or as Jane the Virgin does with Target? Or do you like your the sponsorships to be more subtle? We want to know what you think.

I don’t mind at all. It helps pay the bills.
Doesn’t bother me. There is product placement in every room of my house, so why shouldn’t a TV show house look like a real house.
I could care less, but I’m less likely to purchase a hyped product or one endorsed by a celebrity than a product that is not.
So true! There are things I won’t buy just because of too much pushing.
I think that its ok as long as is subtle, if that is gonna keep a show i like alive #itsworth
It’s fine with meG
Don’t have a problem with logos showing in the set.
Don’t mind if they acknowledge the product IF it is done in a way that works in the story (ex. Modern Family episode when Phil got his iPad).
HATE when they break the story to tell someone about the product (many shows have had characters driving, and out of nowhere, one of them begins listing features of the car).
Keep it natural, not forced.
You’re not wrong! If it’s done in a subtle way then I don’t think it really matters.
